The XV has 150HP / 196TQ... means the CRV will have more pulling power from a stop.

CRV should be compared with the Forester.

Ahhh i really dont have ample ideas re the hp/tq of cars. I just read the comments in ************ with crv 7-seater diesel and its hp is low. Thanks for the input! Btw, how’s the fc of xv city drive? 8-9?

One of the SA's I dealt with also said that the stock HU is more responsive than the Panasonic.

Hi Sir, is your unit a premium model or base model?, i have my unit premium model delivered already installed with panasonic hu ( from alabang ), but i was expecting a harman hu installed as told by a greenhills SA ( greenhills unit are installed with harman).

Have anyone tried playing dvd video on a harman through the cd or through usb, can it be upgraded to watch video in the future? i would also like to know the resolution of the screen.

So far with my panasonic, I tried playing movie through my usb but it just says usb not connected, but dvd cd works. The weblink so far is still not working. Maybe the app is still not updated.

If harman had better resolution and can play video then i will request to have it replaced. But if harman would not be able to play video then i will stick with my panasonic. I am also trying to find the model number for panasonic and harman unit ( research comparison ) but so far have not gotten any information.

Any customer feedback or review from those 2 different headunits would be appreciated.

Thank you! How is the fuel consumption of the XV? Also, im kind of worried with the PMS since it’s kind if pricey. Do you have any idea how much it costs at 40k km?

I still don't have my unit but I reserved a premium one. As mentioned by my Motor Image SA, it should come with the stock HU.

Hi! Could you post a picture of your infotainment system- the panasonic. I test drove both, premium model with harman and a base model with a panasonic infotainment system. The harman looks good while the panasonic's resolution was really bad. I'm not sure if it was just because the harman was in the premium model while the panasonic was in the base model. Maybe a panasonic in the premium model would look differently from its base model.

That's the same comment I got from one of the SA's I've spoken to in Subaru Manila Bay.

I personally hope I get a harman instead of a panasonic infotainment system when my unit arrives this october. My SA told me we can change the harman to a panasonic after trying the harman (without any additional cost or service charge from us) since they plan to put panasonic already to all succeeding xv's.

That's correct. Although I didn't know the reason why they were offering that free service until after reading what you said. If that's really the case, then I think future buyers will have a lot of headache with the Panasonic units It kinda sucks, IMHO.

Please do let us know if you find out the model number of the installed Panasonic HU.

I got the base model with the stock Harman installed.. so far it seems very responsive and easy to use. Apple car play works well to, haven't tried Android Auto yet though.
