I don't think Amare was shut down, he scored at least 30 pts in 2 of the 3 games. He's a freak of nature, He's athletesicm reminds me of Shawn Kemp only better. Even TD can't guard him, nobody in the NBA can, there's a saying that you can't really stop a great scorer only contain them for stretches. What the Spurs did was pressure Steve Nash and did a good job on the pick and roll forcing turnovers and getting out on the break. Also the Suns came out flat with no energy whatsover

IMHO, Jordan Shaq n Amare weren't shut down. I believe they still had their numbers/averages. Its just that DET HOU & SA had better teamwork. Also Hakeem, TD & DET weren't shutdown either, and played better than their counterparts.

You have to beat the champ before becoming a champ. The Lakers almost did that last season when they beat the Spurs, unfortunately Karl Malone and Horace Grant wasn't able to play in the finals.

It's the HEAT over the PISTONS 113-104! Miami leads the series 2-1.

Ha! the Pistons don't have an answer for D-Wade. I still look for the Pistons to bounce back.

That Amare dunk-block was unreal, they showed it again and again, TD's dunk was on the way down, Amare's FINGERS were bent backwards fully, covering the lid of the rim and he blocked the ball off TD's hand and momentum!!!
