Officemate ko until now hinahanapan namin hospital to take her in.
Nung 18 nawalan sense of smell/ taste, got tested nung 21 ayun 22 confirmed case.
Lahat ultimo ER puno na, mahaba pila sa admission. Maawa ka at the same time feel helpless. May difficulty in breathing siya.
May hospital may vacant beds ang problema kulang maman sa staff kaya hindi rin mag accept.
Man I’m scared before nababasa ko lang now ako mismo naka witness.
Makahanap sana hospital for her.

Having been personally involved in TWO outbreaks involving:
1. Medical laboratory personnel
2. Doctors and other healthcare workers in a hospital
I can tell you that this virus is just waiting for the smallest slip-up to infect anyone. You would think that laboratory personnel and doctors would know how to protect themselves - and they do, most of the time. But this isn't about the virus being smart. It has no brain. It's about us, including the ones who SHOULD know better, thinking we can cheat from time to time. With the more infectious G614 mutation already detected by sequencing in the Philippines, this makes meticulous adherence to masking, physical distancing and disinfection essential. It isn't that the virus has become smarter, it's because we do stupid things even when we should know better.

So please, be careful.

Late 20s I think.
This week andami nag positive sa office, mostly are drivers. These drivers are providing shuttle services for employees sa umaga and hapon (company vehicle)
They are not refusing pero lahat sa ER ka lang, sa triage pa lang antay ka matagal.
Until now nasa ER pa din mukhang doon na lang siya i-admit, no beds naka upuan lang daw. Naghahanap pa din hospital na she can transfer.

previous dominant D614 virus that came from China has been replaced by G614 mutant
D614 has disappeared and G614 is now dominant
says G614 is more transmissible but not deadlier
coincidence or maybe coz the virus had to deal with human immune systems trying to kill it while it wants to survive resulting in a random mutation that happens to be more transmissible

yup sana
if this virus is going to become a permanent circulating virus... sana, in time, it becomes one the coronaviruses that cause common cold lang
upper respiratory infection lang we can live with that
ang mahirap kasi itong SARSCOV2 upper and lower respiratory
it can make you breathless and send you to the hospital
kung sipon lang kayang kaya

kung meron lang isang OTC gamot na iinomin parang bioflu para hindi ka maospital... pwede na yun life can go back to normal

Oh great and now there are pictures circulating on FB of a brass band playing for the LSI's in the Rizal Stadium.![]()
an incoming freshman who could've been a batchmate of my niece this school year at ateneo died last week due to covid 19 complications.
sad because she was very healthy, being a player of the PFF women's league - the top flight football tournament of the country for the distaff side. this just goes to show them pandemic isn't confined to the older peeps anymore.
ingat na lang talaga tayo mga bros and sis.
