Which is expected naman but parang rapid test lang yan nun umpisa. Meron pa rin nagpapasok niyang sa black market and if you want it then you have to pay. Which is unfair but that's life. So not really worried na mauubos ng rich countries yun vaccines since pwede pa rin makakuha kung kailangan.

With the kind of govt we have. Wala ka aasahan if youll wait for them. Kung kailanga mo talaga then pony up

    yup

kasi ung WHO initiative gagawin sana nila global ang distribution ng vaccine

purpose is exactly to prevent rich countries from cornering all the vaccines for themselves

LOOK: Lack of physical distancing among locally stranded individuals at crowded Rizal Memorial

Now may regalong Covid-19 papunta sa province nila.

Condiments bottles in pushcart side vendors.

At least 19 people got Covid-19 after attending a county fair in Ohio - CNN

The food vendors "allowed condiment bottles to be set out for use by any attendee of the fair," which allowed "for a significant amount of spread of COVID-19 disease from fair attendee to fair attendee," the report said.

Wearing plastic face shield is not enough...

‘Only those with plastic visors were infected’: Swiss government warns against face shields

Health officials in the canton of Graübunden studying a recent outbreak among staff at a hotel found a worrying trend - all of those who were infected wore plastic face shields, while those who avoided infection wore face masks.

Several employees of the hotel tested positive along with a guest.

Rudolf Leuthold, head of the cantonal health department in Graübunden, said the face shields were the common denominator in infections.

“It has been shown that only those employees who had plastic visors were infected. There was not a single infection among employees with a mask.”

Cantonal doctor Marina Jamnicki said not only are plastic face shields less effective than face masks, they may provide wearers with a false sense of security.

Plastic face shields should be worn in tandem with a face mask, say cantonal authorities.

face shields only protect you from direct talsik laway (ejection of large droplets) but it won't protect you from aerosol

just image someone smoking (that's aerosol) in the same room

pag naka face shield ka di mo na ma-inhale ung usok?

Nearly 20% of young, healthy coronavirus patients hadn't recovered after 2 to 3 weeks, the CDC found — showing infection can cause 'prolonged illness' | Business Insider

The CDC surveyed more than 270 symptomatic adults who tested positive for the virus between April 15 and June 25 but didn't need to be hospitalized. More than a third of those patients said they hadn't returned to their usual state of health two to three weeks after they were tested. Among young, previously healthy respondents — people ages 18 to 34 — the share of patients who hadn't recovered was nearly 20%.

"Nonhospitalized COVID-19 illness can result in prolonged illness and persistent symptoms, even in young adults and persons with no or few chronic underlying medical conditions," the CDC researchers wrote.
