ang IGG+ lumalabas yan 3 weeks or more after infection so by that time you're no longer infectious

pag IGM+ that's infectious (IGM comes out a few days after infection)

    -

pag may employee nag positive sa rapid test, next step is to have the employee get swab test

ang gobyerno di pa nakikialam at that stage

the only time makikialam ang gobyerno is when there's a positive sa swab (kasi nirereport ng lab sa gov't mga nag positive)

i think doon sila mag send ng contact tracer -- to the house of the employee (close contacts are una hinahanap)

di ko alam kung pati sa company

i'm not sure if those companies that close for decontamination did it voluntarily or the gov't told them to close muna

70% of my employees stay in sa compound. Sa malaking chance pag nag contact trace, shutdown siguro compound ko.

    "For everyone’s information
    𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦

First, let's clarify the terms first
COVID-19-coronavirus disease 2019. This is the disease.
SARS-CoV-2-severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. This is the virus made by COVID-19. It's called 2019-nCOV.

It's just like this. AIDS is the disease. The virus that causes HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus).

There are two tests used to determine if someone has COVID-19
    1. Rapid diagnostic test (𝗥𝗗𝗧)
    2. 𝗣𝗖𝗥 (polymerase chain reaction) or swab test

    WHAT'S THE 𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗚𝗡𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧?

When a foreign body or antigens enters the body, the body makes a fight against it called antibodies or immunoglobulins (IG). There are different antibodies for different antigens. In RAPID TEST, blood is being tested if there are antibodies to fight for SARS-CoV-2. It doesn't directly see if there is a virus.

Two antibodies are being looked at in RDT, Immunoglobulin M (igM)) green line in graph graph and Immunoglobulin G (IGG)) red]. The IGM is the first to come out but it disappears immediately like your fling that you didn't take seriously. IGG is the last to come but long term, it's like the one you waited for years and then he's your forever.

    Four can be the result
    1. IgM+ & IgG-
    2. IgM- & IgG+
    3. IgM+ & IgG+
    4. IgM- & IgG-

    𝗜𝗴𝗠 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘, 𝗜𝗴𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘

If you are positive in IGM, it means you are infected and infectious. You have SARS-CoV-2 and you can infect.

    What to do?
    1. Confirmatory test (PCR)
    2. Isolate for 2 weeks
    3. Trace your close contacts in the last 2 weeks because you can infect them. They should be tested too.
    4. Report the result of your test to your LGU

    Is this dangerous?
Not at all. Only a few of those who postive IGM will have symptoms. For those who have symptoms, only few need to be hospitalized. And to those who have been hospitalized, most recover.

    𝗜𝗴𝗚 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘, 𝗜𝗴𝗠 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘

When you're positive in IGG, it means you've got an infection, it's finished, you have antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, and most of all, you're not contagious anymore. You already have immunity but because COVID-19 is just new to us, we don't know until when your immunity will last.

    What to do?
    1. Be thankful that you have exceeded the infection and you are alive.
    2. No need for confirmatory test because based on WHO's latest data, you won't be infected even if there's still a virus detected. Get well soon totally. But here in ′′ Philippines, it is still needed.
    3.. No need for isolation
    4. Trace close contacts in the last 3 weeks because you can infect them. They should be tested too.

    𝗜𝗴𝗠 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘, 𝗜𝗴𝗚 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘

You are not contented with one, you want two. This is when you still have a fling (igM) but potential forever (IGG) is also there and you can't decide. When you are positive with IGM and IGG, it means you are starting to make long-term antibodies but the infection is not yet over and you are still contagious. If your result is like this, the recommendation is also the same as the IGM +/ IGG-above.

    𝗜𝗴𝗠 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘, 𝗜𝗴𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘

There are two situations when you are negative in IGM and IGG. First, you don't have virus. But it doesn't mean you won't have anymore. Two, there are but still very early and your body hasn't done any antibodies yet detected by RDT. In both cases, they will do the same. Those are still precautions like wearing face masks, hand washing, physical distancing, etc. You can repeat the test after 7-14 days.

    WHAT'S 𝗣𝗖𝗥?

In PCR, we are looking for the genetic material (RNA, blue line in the graph) of SARS-CoV-2. If in RDT, only antibodies are looking for, the virus itself is in PCR. This is the swab test. We take a sample in the nasopharyngeal area (in the throat behind the nose). Positive or negative is the result here.

Pag positive, same recommendation pag IgM+ except the confirmatory test.

    𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥
The result of your test is based on your status when you were tested. It doesn't mean that you are negative in the test, you are negative forever. You can still be infected and postive if you don't take care. Same to those who are positive in IGG (immune), we don't know until where your immunity will last. Still need to be careful.

Wear your mask when interacting with people or when in the same space with them, sanitize hands regularly, maintain physical distancing. Protect yourself to protect others."

so MAYBE you did catch the virus pero when you got swabbed wala nakuha

di naman din 100% ang swab kahit gold standard siya

meron mga nag-ne-negative sa 1st or 2nd or even 3rd swab tapos nag positive sa 4th

re IGM disappearing and IGG emerging

meron transistion yan where you'll test postive for both IGM and IGG

then another test much later wala na IGM
Yes I did some reasearch also thats why in my mind I know it was Covid. This is what happened:

Day 0 - Tested positive IgM
Day 1 - Start of self quarantine, Mild fever starts and different sense of taste, I can feel the infection in my throat, Shortness of breathe for 10sec.
Day 2 - Same as Day 1 except shortness of breathe
Day 3 - No more fever feeling well
    Day 4 - Same as Day 3
    Day 5 - Same as Day 3
    Day 6 - Get SwabTest
Day 9 - Receive SwabTest Negative Result
Day 10 - End of Self quarantine

i think di naman matagal kung sakali

Yes thank you kindly post and If I may add in Day 2 my temp was 37.2 - 37.4C so technically I dont have any fever and I can go on with my daily life but deep inside me I know something is wrong and I guess that is how an asymptomatic feels.... very mild and very slight increase in your body temperature that you would hardly noticed it.

Okay.... contrary to her symptoms I didnt have any cough and scratchy or sore throat but i did felt something on my throat. In Day 3 I was already fine at 100% and felt that the virus was gone. So at this point it could be covid or other type of virus that infects my throat that have similar symptoms with covid thats why I also ask if the PCR is sensitive enough to check for virus specimen on the 6th day after positive IgM because as early as 3rd day I felt 100% okay.

    i see

    yeah could be another virus

if it was SARSCOV2 you're very lucky to have mild symptoms only

other people end up in hospital

Or might as well do the test again bruh... to clear your doubt? And answer your question... if i have the resources, i will be glad to test every week for rapid...

Anyway, i hope everything is okay in your end and stop thinking of the past which sounds like ms cath... [emoji3577][emoji1787]

    Deestone doesn't sound concerned naman

if he did get SARSCOV2 nalampasan na niya without ending up in the hospital

if he tests positive for IGG antibodies meron na siya defense for a few months

di na kailangan mag hintay ng vaccine hehe

Im not concerned at this point and yes we have rapid test every week it is just that it turned out positive that last time I tested. With the negative PCR test result it just give me some uncertainty if I really got covid or other type of virus maybe if I tested positive on swab test could give me a closure hehe
