Mahal din nga naman PPE kubg tutuusin and other precautions kaya very important to build our immune system and not be complacent at kahit 1 or 2 days ka lang maghihintay sa swab test malaki na agad expenses compared to normal sickness.

    sabi ng isang pasyente,
"kung alam ko lang kung magkano ang rental use ng respirator na yan, eh bumili na lang sana ako ng sarili kong respirator!"

    at yang PPE,
    bawa't visitor-visit ay isang PPE.
ilang visit ang nars.. ang duktor.. bawa't specialty, may visit..
multiply by the number of days...
conceivably, up to or even more than, half a million bucks for the entire stay.

    baka naman.

Exactly doc, a family friend was hospitalized for 5 days, half-mil agad. Kasi tagal ng result ng swab test eh, ordinary influenza lang pala. Hehe, malas.

    Charges still seem excessive bro.

Sana lang mapunta kahit part of the earnings sa mga front line nurses at doctors sa covid cases. Sila naman ang nagbubuwis ng buhay, not the hospital.

Intentionally keeping people in the dark about our overwhelmed hospital system is a new and recklessly dangerous low that will get even more people killed. It’s that simple. This is straight from Soviet playbook - this is our American Chernobyl.

U.S. shatters coronavirus record with over 77,000 cases in a day - Reuters

(Reuters) - The United States reported at least 75,000 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, a record daily increase for the seventh time this month, according to a Reuters tally.

U.S. deaths are also rising and have recently reached the highest levels since early June, led by Arizona, California, Florida and Texas, according to the tally.

More than half of all states - 30 out of 50 - have reported record one-day increases in cases this month. Infections are rising in almost all states, based on a Reuters analysis of cases the past two weeks compared with the prior two weeks.

If Florida were a country, it would rank fourth in the world for the most new cases in a day behind the United States, Brazil and India, according to a Reuters analysis.

unless we practice more self-discipline on the citizen's side, and more order, planning, and political will on the government's side,
this will be a roller-coaster ride for some time to come...

PUV hindi na nasusunod proper passenger count plus no facemasks sa iba or improper use, tataas pa talaga yan.

Yan isang pet peeve ko na dapat maging mahigpit ang government whether national or local.

May nakita akong shuttle passenger bus ng mga construction workers... just looking how they practice no physical distancing, irregular mask wearing and even smoking inside the bus, alam mo na why ma pa MECQ tayo come august.
