kaya hindi ma-zero ang new cases coz overcrowded ang NCR

it's no mystery why the 2 most highly populated metropolitan areas have the most number of cases

    metro manila and metro cebu

diba when someone tests positive sa swab, contact tracers are sent to the person's home to identify family members pati kapitbahay siguro

those people will be swabbed or have already been swabbed and waiting for result
    i do not know.
they did not bother to explain what their terms mean.

personally, if they refer to persons of interest because of contact-tracing, i find those words "too strong".
"persons of interest" is probably the better word to use.
and once the swab is done and they are awaiting results, "awaiting results" would have been the better term.

    "mukha" lang...?

do they fumigate, sanitize, alcoholize or irradiate the place?
or do they just wait a few days for the virus to disintegrate from exposure?
will they do some literal "money laundering" to sanitize the bills and coins?

    or,
at least 14 days of closure to see if any other employees will come down with the virus?
after all, sino pa ba ang mag-tatao sa branch office na 'yan?

    BTW,
a QC LTO branch is being closed down for a few days, because some of their personnel tested covid positive...

    ...until the effective vaccine arrives!

it's like the smallpox and polio of olde. we can vaccinate them into near-extinction.

or they can mutate out of existence...
my guess is, they already have, somewhat.
notice that fatality numbers are less, now.
either the doctors are getting better, or the virus is mutating, getting less virulent...

    sigh.

i think even if a vaccine or vaccines (from 2 or more companies) are approved before the end of the year, it won't be widely available until 2021

we'll have to adapt to this for the rest of the year

Tapos wala pa mask. Kung naka mask diba drastically baba yun chance ng infection.

the person who devises and patents an effective and nice-to-wear mask, will make a fortune.

sa totoo lang, we find wearing a mask, difficult to live with.
but what if it becomes easy to live with... even ... fashionable?

Here in our company if tested positive on anti bodies test then you will be ask to go home for self quarantine and then they will do the swab test for confirmation. Cannot close down whole office.
