on one hand, they help reduce the inflammation.
on the other hand, they depress the immune system, and may result in worsened infection.

January since corona scare started we tried to avoid going to crowded place.esp.malls andits been 5 months already. Yesterday, I went to Sm as I need something in Ace hardware so I had a chance again to walk around Sm. I felt different, It felt haunted walking around. Half the light switch off, half of usually shopper and limited attendant. Aura is different. Covid already did **** to our life and to think this virus will still be around 2 -3 years from now and some says forever. Its sad!!!

    that's good.

some of the the biological mechanisms the covid virus uses, is not really unique to it.
other viruses and cells employ them or something similar to them.
steroids like dexamethasone have been in use for several decades now, to help manage some of these mechanisms.

steroids were being used by some of our colleagues locally, from the start of covid.
it's an old drug, finding new uses to treat new diseases.
it's like an antibiotic that's designed to fight a certain bacterial infection, and finding out that it can be useful in other bacterial infections, because they share similar biological mechanisms.

    bottomline,
    don't worry.
    they're using it.

Are bikers required to wear helmet? I see a lot of bikers without helmet and is dangerous they bike at the middle lane and you got to honk the car horn for them to move away and worst they will suddenly cut you and is dangerous especially driving at night.

common sense says that they should, even if it's not required.

it has been my observation that many of these bikers (e-bikes as well as padjaks) do not know or do not follow common-sense road policy.

    i have a suggestion.
instead of marking off the seats as "no-use" seats,
remove them from the plane, instead!
with the diminished non-paying payload, naka-menos gastos pa sa fuel.

i mean, i can understand a small minority of grey cases against the un-controversial positive cases.
but in this case, the grey areas outnumber the positives, 2 to 1 ...!
    why!

those suspects and probables are close contacts of those who tested positive

diba when someone tests positive sa swab, contact tracers are sent to the person's home to identify family members pati kapitbahay siguro

those people will be swabbed or have already been swabbed and waiting for result

ung mga nakasalamuha ng nag positive...
