Yes, and Dr. Semilla is their guest. I didn't know they uploaded it right away. Do they earn money in YouTube?

Ano kaya mangyayare sa Pilipinas? I mean, madedefeat pa kaya natin itong COVID? Sa totoo lang, nawawalan na ako ng pagasa. Minsan gusto ko magpaka-positibo sa mga bagay bagay pero looking at those numbers pataas lahat ng cases. Matututo na lang ba tayo mamuhay with COVID? I don’t know lang kung may same country ba out there na hirap rin? I don’t know feeling ko lang talaga kaya naman eh, ang panget lang ng leadership natin [emoji24]

Let's pray everything will go back to normal-normal. Yan din takot ko, what if parang HIV sya, yung wala na discover na gamot and vaccine for decades.? I always tell myself, it's just a matter of time, may effective cure and vaccine din makikita.

Religious gatheringa should be the least priority in the new normal. I hope the govt won't give-in to the pressures of religious groups.

Wala talaga akong makitang reason bakit kailangan pumunta physically sa church mga tao ngayon.

That I don't understand, bat parang sarado bibig ng ibang countries against China sa nangyari. Now I'm wondering sa parallel universe, what if the virus originated somewhere in US say Florida.. Ano Kaya gagawin kay Trump?

yes it's a gamble but it will save lives

you'll be wasting time waiting for approval before mass production

during the time gap post-approval and pre-distribution many will get sick and die

eliminate the time gap you'll save lives and get the global economy moving again

^^^ Agree with the last line -

...save lives and get the global economy moving again...

Not economy first at bahala na kayo sa buhay nyo.

kung nasunod ang gusto ng mga WORK FROM HOME ELITISTA dito sa tsikot the Philippines will be the only country in the world na naka lockdown parin

we already had the longest lockdown in the world -- more than 2 months

ang gusto ng mga elitista dito naka lockdown parin

    hanggang kelan?

    hanggang may bakuna?

by that time there will be no economy left to reopen

Lockdown and contact tracing becomes exponentially harder when you do it LATE.

Take this case in Quezon - if patient zero was simply denied entry to Quezon until her results were available, all this would've been avoided:

Because of the government's crap response, we've had to have the world's longest lockdown. It's NOT because of the lack of discipline (which is simply the result of broken systems).

Unfortunately we simply cannot afford to have an even longer lockdown. The only pragmatic option is to open the economy and try to minimize contagion as much as possible (masks, social distancing). But even then it's still nowhere near previous economic strength.

Another devious (whether intended or not) consequence of opening up the economy - it removes the blame from the government and shifts it to the people and the businessmen.

"O ayan ha, binuksan na naman ekonomiya para di kayo mawalan ng trabaho"

"O, nalugi yung negosyo kaya kayo nawalan ng trabaho, di na namin kasalanan yan ha. Pinabayaan kayo ng amo niyo"

Sinovac’s Vaccine Trial Data Suggest Potential in Virus Defense

The Beijing-based company’s vaccine, called CoronaVac, hasn’t caused severe side effects and more than 90% of people administered with the shot on a 14-day interval have induced neutralizing antibodies two weeks after inoculation, Sinovac said in a press release on Sunday.

The preliminary findings come from phase I and II trials in China. A total of 743 healthy people ages 18 to 59 either received shots on two schedules or a placebo. More data will be uncovered from another group in the trial that received shots on a 28-day interval. Sinovac plans to publish its results in academic journals, according to a company spokesman.
