"Emergency physician: "We see COVID-19 patiens in their 30s with no medical history, lung images are terrifying""

"No, it is not only the elderly or people who already have a medical problem who fall victim to the new coronavirus. Emergency doctor Ignace Demeyer warns about this. "We see people with a blank medical history who are very ill." It is also not just about older generations. "We have had very few older people inside so far," says Dr. Demeyer. "We now have people between the ages of 30 and 50 coming in."

"They all have the same complaints," says Dr. Demeyer. "They have been sick for a week, stayed home with the flu. The flu attack is over, they think. They feel fine for two days. And then they report with complaints of a dry cough and shortness of breath. When we then have their oxygen saturation (level of oxygen in our blood, ed.), we see that they have very low oxygen saturation for their age. ""

"Doctor Demeyer calls "some irresponsible behavior" that some young people still do not see the seriousness and organize parties or go on weekends."
good article but it missed the chance to mention that those images are ct-scan images.

When I went to this hospital toilet. I put alcohol on the door handle before I entered, when I locked the door hurrying to unload my bladder, I realized, I forgot to sterilize the damn lock! no harm was done on jr.

Hmmm -- Tesla electric car manufactuing is an "essential" business. Do you agree? Well, we all love cars, right?

"Tesla has been declared an "essential business" and will remain open during the San Francisco Bay Area's three-week "shelter in place" lockdown to rein in the spread of the coronavirus, according to the Los Angeles Times.

If you're wondering what makes Tesla's automobile factory in Fremont, Calif., "essential," you're not alone. “That’s a good question,” said Alameda County spokesman Ray Kelly, who added, "We're in uncharted waters right now."

Tesla factory will stay open as an '''essential business''' despite coronavirus order

Even before this virus, I already practiced extra clean hygiene. I work in the healthcare industry. We've gone thru EHS mandatory trainings. It is required by many facilities we visit.

Filipina is first COVID-19 fatality in Los Angeles County

His father is now grieving his wife’s sudden death alone, having been quarantined in Southern California after developing a fever and other symptoms.

But Rem claims the Los Angeles County Department of Health is not testing his father for COVID-19.

“They wouldn’t do the testing unless he was in critical condition,” he said. “It was mind blowing. I’m like wait, you’re asking us to take a chance and wait for him to get bad before he gets a test.”

Hopefully other departments do this as well. Some people are not employed. Self-employed and small business-owning people are also affected by the lockdown
