My takeaway from Zubiri's statement - exempted talaga ang pulitiko sa mga guidelines na ginagawa nila.

DOH guideline across all hospitals is that only PUI with symptoms get tested.

Zubiri was an asymptomatic PUM yet got tested. Which is why he knew he was positive even without showing any symptoms.

Many Filipinos do not get that chance. Kahit nga doktor hindi makapagvoluntary testing (even if you're willing to pay). So the only time they get tested is when they show symptoms and have probably affected other people already.

Kaya sana iprioritize ng gobyerno ang procurement ng mas maraming test kit.

kahit mga nurses sa US of A. my sis told me hindi sila iti-test not unless may sintomas na. one of the nurses sa pinagtrabahuan ng ate ko na nag-attend sa infected asked to be tested hindi pinayagan at wala naman daw sintomas.

Baka naman thru contact tracing bro? May confirmed case then disclosed na nakameeting itong si Senator?

Even if contact tracing only PUI with symptoms ang tinitest because kulang nga daw kits, the rest is quarantine until magkasymptoms in which case saka lang itetest.
