    "Mayor dito sa Pilipinas" [emoji848]

But props to his speechwriters for acknowledging criticisms thrown at the last presscon. Nilagay yung tungkol sa displaced workers pero hindi binigyan ng sufficient attention, talagang ang focus is the cooperation/lockdown. Medical workers will be acknowledged in rewarded din daw once this is all over.

It feels as if the people behind the scenes are improving at factoring in the complicated POVs in play. Just that Duterte's "mayor mentality" always seeps through, and thus the discussion is always derailed.

    Can you see the pattern?

Pag may i-naanounce si PDuts na new rules like community quarantine, lagi mababa ang nadadag na cases, as of today 2 lang nadadag. Total is 142 cases.

Sino yang dalwa? si Zubiri yung isa? malabo dalwa lang yan.

1st speech nya 4 lang ata. Pero yung mga succeeding days after his 1st speech pumapalo ng 10+ 20+ and even 30+

They might be filtering the new number of cases para di masyado mag panic. I hope I'm wrong though.

Oo panay kalabit sa Barangay Captains, typical Mayor ang asset eh mga kapitan.

Andame agencies involved to be mentioned akala ata parang barangay problem lang ito.

Andame adlib may nalalampasan tuloy basahin.

    Get to the point Sir.

In fairness he's now tackling the concern on employee wages (13th month pay release) and rent (rental holidays).

But I wonder why may linya na, "Hindi naman 'to batas, suggestion lang kung mahal mo kapwa pilipino mo"

Takot sa big businesses? Pero kung magtapang-tapangan sa ibang bagay kala mo kung sino. [emoji28]

Tapos yung, "pautangin mo muna. Pag di nakabayad, ako singilin mo". Yan yung mga soundbites na gustong gusto ng DDS pero sobrang hindi actionable yan - kung ako landowner paano ko panghahawakan yan.

I'm not expecting his speech to be different from last time.

    Wala akong naiintindihan.

Siya daw magbabayad sa upa. Strange he is now appealing to the oligarch for cooperation after embarrassing and insulting them. Ano kaya reaction ng mga dds?

I don't have the foggiest notion on what he just said. Susme sinama pa sa usapan ang NPA at halos naging lecture on law and order instead of being specific in items such as food supply.

    Enhanced Community Quarantine for Luzon.

    1. By virtue of an Executive Order of the Office of the President we will have a Luzon-wide community quarantine.

    2. We will have a curfew of 8pm to 5am for non-essential personnel on the streets. Exempted are health care workers, peace and order officers, workers from the night shift of the Processing zones with valid ID’s, and LGU officers.

    3. Malls are ordered closed for the duration of the executive order.

    4. Restaurants can only accept take-home and delivery services. Dine in is strictly prohibited.

    5. Banks, groceries, supermarkets, pharmacies, pawn shops, hardwares, and wet markets will remain open.

    6. Fiestas, karakols, parades, and other related public assemblies are cancelled.

    7. Common religious congregations are strongly discouraged.

    8. Gaming parlours, computer gaming shops, wellness Centers, cockpits arenas, will be closed.

    9. Students on OJT are no longer required to report.

    10. Needless loitering in the streets at any time of the day will be denied.

    11. Public playgrounds, basketball courts, beaches, and public parks will be closed.

    12. Public utility offices, Bayad centers, and related financial services will remain open.

    13. ‘Tianges’, open dry good markets, side walk vending, will be closed.

    14. This will become effective March 17, at 12:01 am.

The important points he wanted to convey were lost somewhere between his ad-libs and his lecturing. But I did hear -- 1) only WFH, if not, just stay at home. 2) Only go out to buy food and medicines. What a useless speech.
