    Holy cow!

According to this guy who headed the fight against SARS in 2003, for every fatality there is at least 170 or more that are infected.

it's because only those who show up at hospital get tested

    symptomatic na

    medyo serious na

    mas malaki chance mamatay

if the gov't did widespread testing (like Korea) they'll catch those with mild symptoms and asymptomatic and that will bring down the fatality rate

My cousin from Deloitte said her officemates experienced discrimination. Other companies from their floor avoid them, a colleague was evicted daw from their apartment, & officemates were asked to leave coffee shops.

My wife who’s a doctor just came from a hospital where someone just tested positive for ncov. Hope she didn’t catch the veerus.

South Korea has a 0.8% death rate (72 deaths from 8,000+ cases).

That's a more realistic number than the 5-10% that other countries have because other countries don't have robust detection systems in place.

Plan? Yes. Execute? Hard to say now with what I know without sounding self-serving.

Maybe we're only testing the serious cases?

I think my body is strong enough to fight the virus but I live with seniors. Actually, I am the only "young" person at home. I'm afraid that I will be the carrier of the virus that's why I am so afraid to go out

I'll just go early morning and hope that there are less people already

That's the reason why our company activated BCP on March 9. One of our staff has a sibling working in Deloitte. We also work with Deloitte so they visit our office regularly.

Things were still kinda normal on the first week of March, I even went out to buy fruits with my second Mom last Saturday, ang bilis ng pangyayari since Deloitte announced its infected employee

Also, bakit nga ba umuuwi mga tao sa province? Wala ba sila work sa Manila?
