Makati COVID-19 cases down by 14%

MANILA, Philippines — The number of active COVID-19 cases in Makati dropped by 14 percent in the past week, the city government said in its latest report.
There are 43 active cases in Makati as of Friday, which is lower compared to 50 cases on the same day last week.
There are also no new deaths in Makati as a result of COVID-19 infection.
Nine of the cases are from Barangay San Lorenzo.
The other barangays with active cases are Bel-Air with eight; Poblacion, seven; Dasmarinas, Pio del Pilar and Valenzuela, three each;
Forbes Park and Guadalupe Nuevo, two each; and Magallanes, Tejeros, Urdaneta, Guadalupe Viejo, Pembo and Pinagkaisahan, one each.
Nineteen other barangays in Makati remain COVID-free.
