For me since this pandemic is unique pa din naman to some extent, what is good is to copy the good policies from other countries based on science and not based from what military generals could come up with. Those who tried something first, benefited those who observe and follow especially if without means to spearhead how to combat the virus.

In hindsight kasi ang dali naman sabihin na ganito nangyari at ganito result pero when this all begun hindi naman pa alam yang consequences. There are theories here and there malamang but even those who predicted them could not guarantee anything. Dun na pumasok yung at least we did something instead of not doing anything.

sa US hindi ako masyado naliligo! hahaha! I still wash myself daily but not like the normal baths I would take. I don't wash my hair daily anymore. I don't know if that contributed to my not catching covid even if I was going out daily and dining indoors pa. My Tita also said I'm too much of a germophobe baka kaya nag weaken ang immune system ko

So parang si kags ka din pala… kahit hindi masyado naliligo, amoy mabango pa rin tingnan… ganyan din yata mga americans noh?

"not peer reviewed" means,
the article has not been scrutinized by the experts in the field.
as such, its veracity has not been scrutinized and found acceptable.

about a year or two ago,
a reputable journal printed an article written by three people. the article reported on numerous ill-effects of covid vaccinations. antivaxxers loved it and quoted it numerous times.

several months after printing, the journal recanted the article.
upon reviewing the article and its supporting documentation,
it was determined that a significant part of the data used were, "hearsay".
it would appear, the authors quoted from a list published by an institution which collected such material, "for use as a base for future research".
the data came from all over, but were only listed down and tallied, and not investigated nor confirmed by the institution.

furthermore,
it was found out that the writers of the article were not "learned enough in the topic of that particular article".

several editors of the journal resigned after that.

i remember a colleague.
he was obviously impressed with this new treatment procedure he just read, and was practically pushing it in the conference, as the way to go.

an older colleague was not impressed, and cautioned him,
