they should come up with something

    delikado paulit ulit na injection
    injection or oral medication,
    there will always be side-effects.
that injections are more dangerous than oral medications, is a simplification that at times may be... simply, wrong.

some authors say the oral medication may be the more dangerous,
because anyone can just pop it into one's mouth.

there are only few orally-taken vaccines.
my classic example is OPV. oral polio vaccine. DOH's 'patak centers'.
but the US health authority does not use it; they still prefer the injected vaccine.

so why the fear of needles?
    it's an acquired fear.
"sige anak... pag hindi ka tumahimik ay i-injection ka ng duktor!"
hayon... natakot na sa duktor, natakot pa sa karayom.

not literal injury sa tusok ng karayom

those vaccines haven't been tested for 3 or 5 years we don't know the long term effects

as it is now we're already hearing about blood clots, myocarditis, nerve/neurological side effects like palsy and symptoms similar to multiple sclerosis (we don't even know if there will be autoimmune disorders later)

sa lagay na yan we're only talking about 1 or 2 shots

    tapos kailangan ng boosters?

parang naghahanap ka ng serious side effects niyan... the more shots you take you're courting trouble

at least pag pill you only take it pag nagka-covid ka

kung maingat ka at di ka nagka-covid, you don't need to take anything

eh ung bakuna ma-covid ka o hinde nasa loob na ng katawan mo yan

tapos every 6 months or every year kailangan magpabakuna

parang naghahanap ka ng serious side effects

    that's EUA for us.

    i thought kasi,
you were generalizing all injectable vaccines.

nabasa ko mga side effects ng astra bago ako nagpaturok

and ung nangyari kay Eric Clapton

i read this a few days before i got my 1st shot

    May 16, 2021

on May 19 with all that in my head i still went ahead

swerte di nangyari sakin ung nabasa ko

pero mag 2nd dose pa ako sa August so i'm taking that risk again

tapos sasabihin nila kelangan pa ng booster as the virus evolves

parang russian roulette the more times you pull the trigger eventually you'll arrive at the chamber that has the bullet in it

... dahil bawal ang sit-down dinner..?
    how literal.
    heh heh.

    curiously,
    before covid,
seats were removed, to encourage guests to mingle with other guests.

    nowadays,
comfort things like chairs and tables, and low temp aircons,
were minimized, to discourage people from staying too long in the place.

Yes so they eat standing up but in other malls they are very strict they will not let you eat inside standing-up you should go and eat it outside.

I guess the establishment would like people to eat it outside or take it home rather than eat it inside.

Since the start of the covid epidemic in 2020, most of the people i know who have gotten covid seem to always remember an incidence where they took down their mask and more than half of them is at a dine in restaurant or indoor food court.

Nag post ulit classmate ko na 5 hrs na sila sa pila. I guess compared to before na 30 mins in and out, "magulo" na ang 5 hrs. Even I wouldn't wait 5 hrs with seniors kasi sobrang exposed na yan sa virus

I wonder what's taking so long for my classmate. Looks crowded to me, walang social distancing. Was it like tbat when you went?

Our priority office staff (those with comorbs) got vaccinated ahead with Moderna at Solaire last Friday.

It was done drive-thru and they never stepped out of their vehicles. Mabilis at maayos naman daw.

Salot talaga itong CHINA WUHAN VIRUS
