Alam mo ano problema last year? Sa laki ng problema natin sa Covid, ang inatupag ang pagpapasara ng ABS-CBN. Ang buong bansa tumigil dahil dyan.

I think our company is getting AZ. But we don’t have the luxury of waiting. Sabi nga ni ale828 next year na lang magpaka-choosy. Get whatever is available now.

Just shows that government does not have a definite plan always dilly-dally.

UK health regulator may restrict AstraZeneca shot for younger people, Channel 4 says | Reuters
“Two senior sources have told this programme that while the data is still unclear there are growing arguments to justify offering younger people - below the age of 30 at the very least - a different vaccine,” the broadcaster reported.

one explanation offered, is that AZ vaccine stimulates the immune system to react against platelets, thus causing blood clots.
but this is so rare, according to the manufacturer.
37 documented cases from several million vaccinations, daw.

historical judgement can differ from front-door judgement.

Natabunan question ko re AZ vaccine.

Naka store na ba 2nd dose ng AZ vax or hintayin pa dumating next shipment? If mag wait pa, and since India will keep the AZ for their country's use muna, pano na yun 2nd dose ng mga na-jab ng AZ?

    from what i understand,
the original plan was to store both 1st and 2nd doses, para siguradong may 2nd dose na ibibigay.

    what i do not know,
is if some wise guy decided to change strategies and put his faith on the goodwill of the fates.

Improve ventilation instead of deep cleaning

If you're still disinfecting just about everything you own to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it's time to stop.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its guidance Monday for how to clean and disinfect surfaces properly to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at home and in facilities.

The agency now says, by and large, good old fashioned cleaning with soap and water or detergent can protect against COVID-19 infections just fine.

You don't need to waste time trying to completely obliterate this virus on surfaces using sprays and disinfectant.
The CDC relaxed its rules on cleaning to prevent COVID-19, saying intense disinfectants are likely doing us more harm than good | Business Insider

Alam na nga nilang kulang ang supply tapos hindi pa sinecure ang 2nd dose? Palpak sobra yan kung ganun. Useless kasi kakalabasan ng unang shot eh. tsk

    Hope it ain't so.

    one is tempted to think,
"were they not advised by their expert, on the effects of a half-vaccination?"

I don't know if they did proceed and deploy the entire first batch or if they did get the expected second batch since this news article was posted.

WHO says the 2nd dose of AZN should be from 8-12 weeks after the first. DOH says 4-12. So best to have it 12 weeks after to be sure.
