ok, tough decision for me now. i'm carrying a 5-4 lead over theveed ballers, with his guys all done for the night and Steve Francis still yet to play for my team. 7 of the categories are basically decided, with him up by 4 assists and me up by 3 TO.

can Stevie get 5 assists and get less than 3 TO? should i go for the 6-3 and potentially fall to 4-5 if he loses me TO and doesn't get enough assists? hmmm....esep....esep :confused:

Protest ako sa trade - Mike James for Luke Ridnour - season stats are not even close... yun lang

Other reasons for my protest - the presence of Earl Watson eats into the minutes of Luke (Ridnour averaged 35-37 mins in Feb, down around 32 mins in March) while Mike James has not competition in the PG spot in Toronto.

ok guys...the Luke Ridnour/Mike James trade is under protest. as before, jim and i will not vote, and we need 6 of the other 10 gm's (majority rule) to vote to veto the trade.

paki-linaw na lang guys if the Francis-Miller trade is also under protest. not sure if those are opinions or requests for veto.

ano tingin nyo, pwede hanggang end of wednesday US Pacific (yahoo time) before the protest time elapses, no? if it doesn't get 6 votes before then, pasado yung trade. hopefully that's acceptable to everyone.

eto explanation ko why i think the trade is fair:

1. Mike James for Luke Ridnour

James gets you more points and threes, and shoots a better FG%.

Ridnour gets you more of the rare stats - TO, steals and assists - that i don't need because i'm overloaded at those stats, but i need the threes. Luke also shoots 8 points better from the line, and his poor shooting isn't such a big deal because he shoots much less than James. also, getting a PG who doesn't TO is huge - which doesn't really help me because i have TO machines Lebron and Gilbert.

their season rankings are not too far off - Luke is 92 overall and 56 for the season, Mike is 132 overall and 48 for the season.


2. Steve Francis for Mike Miller

gamble for both sides. Jim might be getting the Stevie Franchise who's a top 25 player (he's going to start with Q Rich out), but he might be almost worthless. Mike Miller can go off for 41 or 4, and he's in a timeshare with 2 other good swingmen (EJ and Battier). ultimately, i made this trade because i need the threes.

hehehehe i knew naman na may magrereact sa James/Ridnour trade due to the playing time of both guys. James' stat are up because wala sya ka-competition sa team nya. Ridnour on the other hand may kahati pero I looked at both how they performed konti lang pinagkaiba, sa playing time lang talaga nagkatalo. If Ridnour was given the time his stats would surpass James.

ok lang na ipalit si M. Miller kay S. Francis. M. Miller is REALLY inconsistent. Nagulat nga ako naka-41 sya last Fri pero if you look at his other games, HE SUCKS. Kung ako kay commish I'd retain Francis kasi he is taking a big risk din kay M. Miller.
