James gets you more points and threes, and shoots a better FG%.

Ridnour gets you more of the rare stats - TO, steals and assists - that i don't need because i'm overloaded at those stats, but i need the threes. Luke also shoots 8 points better from the line, and his poor shooting isn't such a big deal because he shoots much less than James. also, getting a PG who doesn't TO is huge - which doesn't really help me because i have TO machines Lebron and Gilbert.

their season rankings are not too far off - Luke is 92 overall and 56 for the season, Mike is 132 overall and 48 for the season.

    2. Steve Francis for Mike Miller

gamble for both sides. Jim might be getting the Stevie Franchise who's a top 25 player (he's going to start with Q Rich out), but he might be almost worthless. Mike Miller can go off for 41 or 4, and he's in a timeshare with 2 other good swingmen (EJ and Battier). ultimately, i made this trade because i need the threes.
nag-post ka rin pala hayan parehas kami ng view.

your forgetting one important stat commish - minutes, Ridnour is now splitting time with Earl Watson.

You can pretty much throw out the season rankings its not accurate to begin with, James will get better as the season winds down, he averages almost 10pts better, and 1 less assist which is negligable, almost 2 more 3pt FGs, and better FG%. he has virtually no competition in the PG spot in Toronto. If this trade pushes thru, malaki ang lugi ni jim.

Yung Francis - Miller trade medyo acceptable to but lugi din si jim IMO

Commish if Steve Francis is performing like a top 25 player like he's supposed to be, then I wouldn't have dropped him...

again no offense just airing out my views on this trade(s)

Oh vote na kayo. As far as lugi, di na importante sa akin yun Kidding aside, kaya nga may pagkakataon mag-vote ang mga GM's for these kinds of trades. I LOVE THIS LEAGUE!!!

uy malaki naitulong sa assists si Davis yun nga lang na-injured (lahat naman ng players at risk) hehehehehe. pero despite the injury i really got good stats from him lamang lang si kobe sa points.

    M. James might get injured (wag naman sana) kasi he plays hard. That's also one factor I considered. We have seen players who F***ED up during playoffs. Too much strain on their game took its toll during playoffs. I just hope this won't happen.

lahat naman ng players may injury risk... anyway I'm basing my protest on season performance, minutes, rotation, and schedule.

no offense taken. it's a difference of opinion. basta hindi kami nagco-collude ni Jim like those two motherfukkers in the other league ha!

that's what makes this trade interesting. i wouldn't have traded Francis if he wasn't in such a weird situation, and Jim wouldn't have traded Miller if he wasn't so damn inconsistent...it's a gamble on both sides that God only knows who'll come out on top.

guys...i need to get notification directly from the GM that he protests this trade for his vote to count. a post on this thread, on the league page, or PM will be acceptable.

I wouldn't have dropped him if he wasn't in such a crowded backcourt...

    Hello boys...

Francis for Miller, I don't see why a protest is necessary, both are hell in terms of consistency, although Miller is getting better consistency in playing time coz he doesn't have a coach named Larry.

Luke for James - Opinion lang, nothing against either parties... If Mike is somewhat injured or slumping, I would understand, but he's STILL playing the season of his life and Luke is definitely slumping, he doesn't even close Seattle games anymore since Watson was traded, Watson plays the whole 4th almost every time and he gets the job done.

James' caliber right now is pretty high, yes the TO is there, but so is Nash. If you're the main PG of the team, it's expected. Much like Baron, Andre, Gilbert etc. they're TOs are high coz their backups are pretty far off in terms of skills. Who's backing up Mike? Calderon?

The fact that this is a PG-to-PG trade makes it even more glaring.

(Just to clarify, I know this is not a collusion thing hehe, hence our honest, non-personal opinions).

This trade will make commish's team way too strong sa PG position... LBJ, Gilbert, James, etc...

    I vote for a veto.

Bai: NP, coz if natuloy kasi, I have to rethink my add/drops this week. No rush though

May naisip lang ako, there are quite a few "under the radar" guys this season... Caron Butler is just awesome, wish I took him before when someone offered him to me hehe.
