mga fellow gm's, have you heard of keeper leagues? it's basically the same as our league except that you get to keep an agreed-upon number of players for next season, and everyone else is eligible to be drafted. of course, you need a group of committed gm's who will be around every season.
medyo iba yung strategy...you would value young promising players a little bit higher and be a lot more invested in the players you draft. also, kung kulelat ka one year, you can always make transactions with an eye towards next year.
i joined a keeper league this year (my third one besides this one and EBNC) and we get to keep two players (right now i'm planning to keep Kobe and JON). eto lineup ko (it's roto para maiba):
PG - Tinsley, Cassell, Damon and Salim Stoudamire
SG - Kobe, Hinrich
SF - Battier
PF - Randolph, Joe Smith, J O'Neal
C - Big Ben, Diogu, Kaman
this team is doing really badly (#9 out of 12)...so i could use some help to improve it. also, i don't like only keeping two players because then you only pick the no-brainer studs and don't get to take a chance on promising young players (like Diogu or Hinrich for me)...i think we should have kept at least 5.

November 29th, 2005 12:55 PM #1952DENVER -- Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony left Denver's game against New Jersey after spraining his left ankle in the first quarter Monday night.
Two minutes into the game, Anthony drew a foul while driving to the basket and falling hard to the floor. He stayed down for a minute and then hobbled off the court during a timeout. He returned and sank both free throws before going to the trainers' room.
X-rays were negative and his return was questionable.
