well guys, the fantasy regular season is over and the playoffs are here. good luck to everybody, except dun sa mga makakalaban ko

thanks for having me as your commissioner this year. it was fun and i learned a lot. from the start, i saw my role as to facilitate the day-to-day activities of the league and keep order, but not micromanage or second-guess any other GM's decisions or strategies. above all things i tried to be fair and make sure everybody felt that their opinion was valued. hopefully you guys feel the same way.

a few items i would like to put up for a league vote in preparation for next season, to ease the way for the next commissioner:
1. more ground rules on protesting and vetoing trades
2. should we have a max add/drop limit for the season?

let me know your thoughts.


my vote would be to keep the formal protest/veto vote process. this ensures that we don't concentrate too much power in the hands of the commish, but it should also be public so people have to justify their reasons for vetoing to their peers.

i also vote for an add/drop limit to prevent game-stacking. a limit of 82 add/drops sounds fair (1 per game) but i can be flexible on the exact number.

goodluck GMs, specially those in the championship bracket learned a lot in my first fantasy season.

Next season, I still would like another Head 2 head league, set a max number of moves... maybe around a 100 moves, but I still like the unlimited moves specially without the IL.

4. may ADD/DROP deadline din also, siguro before the playoffs dapat i set din natin ang roster natin...just like the real nba...

Hats off to you, le commish for a bang-up job!

My suggestions:

1. Maybe there should be a holding period for those who pick up FAs. I noticed that some FAs are picked up only to be released again on the same date, thereby preventing the other GMs from selecting that player because there's a waiting period for a player to clear waivers.

2. Would it be possible to know the order of priority of the GM's for getting a player off waivers in a given week? I'm a little unclear on this one. Does the order of priority follow ranking?

altis, waiver priority is displayed in the league page. If you have waiver priority 1 and you contest an FA on the wire. sigurado kuha mo na,

same day add drops do not put a player on the waiver wait list. available agad siya if added/dropped on the same day ;)

thanks guys. league champion is next year's commish, although i suppose that person can decide to name another player as commish if he wishes.

agree with PK - the commish should always be online. that was my one frustration as commish...i'm not always online because things get really hectic at work, tapos baliktad pa tayo ng time zone.
