I got mine from Robinsons Metro East Handyman way back in 2009. Still working in mint condition until now. It was under 6k but with discount promo then. The water nowadays are poor in quality. Lots of soluble Iron and fine sediments that turn your water faucets and fixtures whitish and even clog them in the process. Heated water produces a lot of calcified sediments so I installed a pre-stage filter in our mains to reduce if not eliminate these impurities that often plague our waterlines. AEG uses good materials in their mixing tank so clogging in the system is minimized due to lesser sediment contact.
