Mitsubishi aircons are solid quality and very popular sa ibang countries. I tried to look for their aircon before but mukhang konti lang dealers nila. Settled with 4 LGs that all had issues less than 3 years old.

I am opting pa naman for LG because of the service also. Torn between LG and Daikin. LG 1.5hp is 26500 while Daikin 2.5hp is 28500.

LG aftersales for aircon is their dealers so it depends on the professionalism of the dealer. Encountered a couple of difficult and unprofessional authorized ac techs.
    Definitely go with daikin

This is where you appreciate this forum, reviews are hard to come by. Without these info, people only look at the brand name.

Recommend naman kayo ng dealer sir. I need a few units for the office.

Am mulling over whether to get all Daikin/Mitsu split types or try out the window type Panasonic inverters where possible.

Actually the authorized service center including their technicians. Head office would say that techs will come abut no one will go that day. Happened several times. Technicians couldnt pinpoint the problems. Techs would claim that everything’s fixed but air wasnt cold naman. Had to replace a board on the 3rd try to make it work. This is for my noninverter kolin. With my LG units, theyre more knowledgeable with them on what parts need replacement.

Missed the title split pala pero baka makatong. Yung 1HP WINDOW type ng kolin at american homes parehong pareho. Iisa lang ata manufacturer pinagkunan. Check mo 1.5 HP nila baka pareho lang din. Pili kanalang sinu masmura ang bigay. Tried their service( american homes) okay naman. Mag 1 year na 1 hp inverter american homes ko okay pa naman. Consumption 12 hrs thermostat in autoc during cold weather 3.7-4 kw. Nung summer around 5 kw for 12 hours auto lang din.

My aircon installer said last year he installed more than 300 units. Daikin has no back job and the parts are really superior compared to other brands.

Is there a gadget for measuring a specific appliance's electric consumption? I hope it's cheap if there is, I like to buy one.
