Depends on the hardware and software, yung Xperia XZ1 kahit 2700 mAh lang mas matagal pa battery life kesa sa G6, hindi rin nalalayo sa S8 with 3000 mAh. An optimized software and a modern, efficient CPU will still last longer than a phone with a huge battery and heavy resource-hungry software.

An iPhone 8 with a 1,821 mAh battery also lasts longer than an S8.

Plus I'd rather have a long lasting phone with a smaller battery so I don't have to rely on quick charging most of the time, mas lalong bababa lifespan niya. 🙂

I agree. It's the poor-man's S8 (I don't mean that to be offensive). I gave one to my son and he absolutely love it.

Launch ng oneplus 5t bukas sa SM North digital Walker. 31k for the 128gb. My wife would be pissed if she hears this. She just bought a oneplus 5 128gb a month ago at the same price.

    27k for J7? That's S8 price already.

The S7 Edge for 16k is a much better buy IMO. You just have to keep an eye for fresh units.

They claim that Apple never requested consent from them to "slow down their iPhones." Both plaintiffs are owners of an iPhone 7. Bogdanovich and Speas claim they "suffered interferences to their iPhone usage due to the intentional slowdowns."

Both people are also claiming damages from Apple because they said the company's actions caused them to suffer "economic damages and other harm for which they are entitled to compensation."

Bogdanovich and Speas are trying to get the case certified to cover all people in the United States who owned an Apple phone older than the iPhone 8.

    Not cool, Apple.

As far as I know, Android phones, in general, does not resort to CPU throttling based on battery health. Some may have chipset-dependent throttling for safety purposes, like when it's overheating.... which I know Intel is also doing on all of their CPUs for decades.

Most Android phones would have a manual toggle to enable battery save features. It effectively slows down the CPU, lower the display brightness, disable certain network connections, and so on. More importantly, these require user intervention and the battery save mode can be disabled even if you're down to the last 5%.
