I think Z3 ang bago nila ngayon pero for some reason last year's SD835 ang gamit nila.

Great concept sana though hindi naging successful. Medyo problema din availability and pricing, yung slide out keyboard I think canceled na. Napilitan din sila tuloy mag stick sa iisang design.

Dapat idevelop/iperfect pa nila yan smartphone tapos pwede kabitan ala camera / ala projector kasi pag yan naperfect hanap na lang makinis na puting pader pwede na manuod kasama mga sunog baga. Wide screen agad. Dadami manunuod ng scandal sa pader. My gawd ano ba ito isip ko !!!!

Pag nadevelop yan projector type eh matatamaan jan si chromecast. Pinadalhan kami nyan kadugo ko sa states, dalawa chromecast. Hindi ko ginamit kasi smartphone pa eh may smart tv naman. Yung isa napunta sa isang kadugo ko pero isang taon lang ginamit kasi napabili din smart/android box. Tawa lang ako kasi mas techy at magadget yun. Eh ako sinabihan dati na bumili smartphone para magamit chromecast. Nabaligtad tuloy. hahahaha.

That is why Apple’s iPhone, once the best option in the market without any challenger in terms of performance, was long seen as the smartphone of choice in China.

So it was no surprise when recent research by Shanghai-based MobData provoked controversy when it found that Apple iPhone users in China are generally less educated and hard-up, with fewer valuable assets, than users of other smartphones from brands such as Huawei Technologies or Xiaomi.

For years, iPhone users in China have seen themselves as superior because they had the best smartphone on the planet. This kind of thinking does not come out of nowhere – Apple advertises its products the same way. To be sure, there is no doubt that Cupertino, California-based Apple has led the evolution of the global smartphone market since it first introduced the iPhone in 2007. It was considered an iconic design that every brand tried to duplicate. And for users, the device ran the smoothest and most secure mobile operating system, iOS.

It may still be true that the iPhone offers the best features in the market, but it is not fair to look at Android smartphone brands the same way we did five years ago. When we read the product reviews, high-end smartphones from Samsung Electronics could offer the best displays, Huawei has the best cameras, OnePlus has the smoothest system and Xiaomi offers the best prices.

Apple’s iPhones are no longer the smartphones that are so good that they have left everyone behind – except in one aspect: pricing.

Therefore, if you choose an iPhone for general usage it means you are paying the price of a motorbike but using it like a bicycle. Meantime, since buyers outlay a large sum on their iPhone, some would try to use it as long as possible to justify the money they spent. This would seem to back up the findings of the seemingly illogical MobData report that found the iPhone 6 is still the most popular.

At the end of the day, when people see the Apple logo everywhere and using an iPhone no longer makes them feel special or “well-off”, they will start making more rational choices.

I see an increasing number of former iPhone users starting to purchase Android smartphones, but the opposite trend is rare.

But why am I paying a large sum for the latest iPhone even though I don’t think it is worth the value? Probably because I have been an iPhone user for years and I am not ready to make a complete change.

That means I am not a rational buyer, and I belong to a group of people Apple is relying on to maintain its high margins. If not, why would I even consider buying it?

Apple's $100 'GiveBack' As iPhone Suppliers Deliver New Warnings

Digitimes reports today that Apple has “enforced a second wave of order reduction in the wake of weaker-than-expected sales for its new iPhones”. Apple’s Chinese manufacturers were alreadyreporting profit warnings due to order cutbacks of 25% by their “largest customer”.

Apple’s response: it will give customers up to $100 more when they trade-in their existing iPhones under its ‘GiveBack’ program and upgrade to one of the new models.

This is a dramatic change of position. During the Black Friday and Cyber Monday holidays, all Apple offered customers were coupons of up to $50if they bought older generation hardware at full price. Apple shares are now down 20% this month

What is the way to use my Samsung S8 and s9? . I got my phones since the first release, but sadly i Can't use here my Phone, unlocked by AT&T in USA, the only function of the phones is like an apple Itouch [emoji23] . I brought it to samsung service center but they said as of now there is no available version to unlock here in Philippines. It's ok because i still have my daily use samsung s5 but sadly nasira na kanina [emoji24].. But there's other way of unlocking, the online IMEI unlocking do you think it is effective? . Since wala naman. Problema sa account yung mga phones sa at&t. Online kase kaya nag alanganin ako baka ma sayang lang yung ibabayad.

What is your suggestion guys? Help. Please

When my cousin gave her BB to me basta unlocked na it worked alright agad sa Pinas. Check mo version na yan baka hindi compatible sa frequency natin. But most probably may mali sa pag-unlock. Kasi dapat magamit mo na yan agad.

Try putting your sim to sim 2 slot, that's the advice i read from the s9 user fb group, not sure though if it works. Downside is you cant use your memory card.

there is always sort of compromise. you can't have it all ika nga. maybe soon, we can have a phone that can last days on a single charge and still, we wish for more. kung gaano kabilis magpalit ng modelo ang mga manufacturers, ganun din kabilis ang consumers na mag-adapt at magpalit ng gamit.

Actually, may nabasa akong article earlier this year na yung batteries lang ang problem kung bakit di ma-reach ng OEMs yung full potential ng portable devices.

Hinihintay daw nila yung susunod sa Lithium-ion battery...

Sa chargers naman... May hangganan daw yung kakayahan ng silicon... Kaya yung mga high end chargers ngayon, GaN (Gallium nitride) na ang gamit...

MIT has actually found a way to double the battery capacity. I think further safety checks na lang kulang. To prevent a Note 7 fiasco. Also yung charging cycle issue pa din.
