I was at True Value yesterday and it seems that Philips released new LED bulbs (naka box instead of the usual plastic casing). If i read the price right, P 350+ each.

mas maliwanag mga T5 na LED kahit na 20W lang. But downside, it is still too expensive.

Tried a 7W GES 4th gen LED and a 23W Firefly CFL. Power consumption is 6.8 vs 22.7 respectively although nagbabago kunti. Mas maliwanag pa nga LED imho. Pero ciempre firefly kasi, kung GE or Philipps baka iba. Mahina talaga focus at firefly na brand eh.
