Nagtyaga mag demo ang Akari guy sakin. Wala siguro bentaPinagtabi ang Akari at GES same wattage and color and sabay sindi. I still got the GES.
Last time I checked parang 7W lang ata ang lowest white ni GES na 2-year warranty. Kung wala nang choice I'll go Firefly.

Bought my first Firefly LED yesterday. Naka-sale more than 50% off sa Ace. 5W daylight kinuha ko for the kitchen sink.
Also got my first Akaris. Bought 2 warm white 3W "Pinoy LED" for 120 each.
Ang common is 7W and 9W. I'll stick with GES for my high wattage needs.
"sale" item nila hehe
How's the consistency of color of Firefly's warm whites?
The problem with GES 2year Warm Whites is the color temperature is all over the place. Very hard to match colors when you have several on one circuit.
Tried out Firefly's 5w. Same power as GES 4w, more consumption, not really any more life (in terms of hours). Got a whole bunch of GES 4w nalang. On sale at ACE, 154 pesos. Only four bucks more, same lumens, lower power consumption... score.
Almost completely LED now. Only a third of the lights we have remaining are CFLs. Have only broken one LED, and that's in an outdoor enclosure that seems to have wires that get grounded in the rain.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
The GES warms vary from bulb to bulb. Some "Warm white" GES 2 year bulbs look almost white. The 5 year bulbs are much more consistent.

Hard to say. Our bill has been consistently low for a long time, and it went down during the installation, as before that, my relatives would use a washing machine connected to our meter, since my floor (of the apartment building) is only on one meter.
We do notice the low consumption on the external light circuit, but I haven't been tracking. Just seeing the "instant" readout go down between CFLs and LEDs is enough reason for me.
Then again, our bill has stayed relatively flat despite rising prices, but whether that's due to the bulbs or us not using lights and AC so much (even with AC every night, we're at around 2k only. Family of four).

Good Day fellow Tsikot. Let's have a comparison of these Light Bulbs: Incandescent (bilog), Circular Flourescent Light (CFL) and the Light Emitting Diode (LED). Post kayo dito, let's compare. Thanks and god bless.
We're starting to switch all our lighting to LED. Our electric bill decreased significantly. There are brands that aren't that good. Later I will check the brand we got that gives the best illumination. It's a bit more expensive though.
Cath.

^Cath, from experience, GES bulbs ang pinaka best bang for the buck. Highest lumens to watt ratio, competitive pricing, latest gen LED and emitters, easy warranty claim.
I tried Omni, Firefly, and NXLed as well. NXLed ok naman but expensive. Omni walang kwenta. Ang hina ng light. Firefly ok din, but 2nd gen lang yata LED niya.

^sale kuno yung firefly sir hehe sa Ace niyo nabili? If you to True Value, regular price niya yung 180

i'm still a big fan of fluorescent tubes, circular or straight. i believe they still offer the most usable light than the rest.
LEDs may be extremely energy-efficient, but they also cost a lot to buy. and in my experience, even as they are advertised as being extremely long-lasting, i have managed to pundi a number of them in a matter of weeks... (o sige, cdr king lang siya...).
incandescent bulbs are the most energy-inefficient, but they are also the cheapest. we still have several in the house..
