meron ba tint snobs dito? it really annoys me that led bulbs are either too warm or too cool. why aren't the nice neutral whites more readily available?

may mga dual color led lamps na.. pwedeng white, warm tapos pwede white-warm.. mas gusto ko yan. parang mas balanced yung output pag dual color naka on

    it would appear,
    quality control varies,
    even under the same brand...
    ... manufacturing evolution?

I had to replace this firefly 28 Watts dahil pundi na.

Eto pinalit ko, philips 17 Watts. Lumabas na mas maliwanag pa itong 17 Watts vs 28 Watts. Bakit kaya? Hindi porket mataas ang Watts mataas na rin lumens? Is it because philips is better? Or my specs ako na hindi na intindihan?

    i did notice,
older leds tended to be not as bright as their equivalent-wattage but newer models.

The Philips has a narrower beam... 150°, vs the Firefly's 220°. Another way to put it, the Philips would have more light pointing downward and would be perceived as brighter between the two.

It also has to do with the efficiency of the LEDs and driver used, as well as how hard the LEDs are driven. Over-driven LEDs tends to be brighter but will have a shorter lifespan.
