Were your metal halide lamps used to light the area around the warehouse? If yes, why not look for 30 to 50 watt LED flood lights?

Those LFED's is placed inside the acrylic dome like this one sir GH:

It is placed inside the warehouse area with metal rods and purlins for the support of this lighting fixture but it seems like it couldn't brighten enough the area. Yes, I already installed LED firefly floodlights 50W outside the warehouse premises.

I measured the luminance reading through my luxmeter apps and it registers only 250 lux (previously 500 lux metal halide). I think this is one of the downside of LED as compared to conventional metal halide lamps, seems like the throw of the light couldn't reach eye level especially when installed in a higher location.

This is also the case when I replaced our metal halide flood lights to led floodlights... it seems metal halide lamps are brighter than its led equivalent. Ill try a higher wattage led next time.

Sir retz, i saw a led floodlight being sold online and they are giving 3 years warranty on their product. Plus, the price is half that of the firefly brand. Maybe you could try it and give us a feedback. Im tempted to get one but the problem is im from the province...

I already purchased and did install LED Firefly floodlights 50 watts. What is the brand of the LED light you are referring to? if it is price half of Firefly it should be around 2k range. Yes, im open with other led lighting brand as long as it is of good quality and cheap. lol.

The one I am referring to looked similar to this:

except that the ones I bought had a round head instead of square. The base was plastic and removable so you can bolt it so a wall or pole. The base had a hole to insert into a tripod work-light stand.

Philips LEDs are on sale (buy 3 take 1 IIRC) at True Value and Ace. Looks like they're trying to move the current inventory

got us an omni brand led t8 10w tubular lamp. good thing about it as demonstrated by the sales staff is that it requires no complex wiring (9.5 watt) and is plug and play with standard fluorescent bulb fixtures (with a 1.5 to 2watt drag). P750 bili namin and has 3-year warranty.

1 watt bulbs are in short supply. pa heads up naman kung saan pa merong buy1 take 1 na promo.

Are these LED's okay for garage use? I usually leave a single 3 watt CFL on overnight duty.

Yup they are trying to sell off all the existing older stocks of LED bulbs. They couldn't even sent stocks to us to distribute to our customers. So antay-antay na lang kami for the new stocks to arrive (soon).

Are LED bulbs worth researching in terms of how willing Filipino households to spend more?

Sino taga ortigas?

    Mura eh. hehehe 120, 150, 180 yun 3W,5W, 7W.

Ano advantage ng bagong generation doon Sa firefly na lumang model

yung sa GES, 4th gen LED na siya, so mas mataas yung lumens/watt ratio niya. nasa 90lumens/watt yata? yung 3rd gen nasa 70lumens/watt yata. basta something like that.

but honestly, yung ibang ambiance lighting namin Firefly na 3W nalang gamit namin. mas mura kasi and mas maganda yung pagka warm white niya.
