C'mon CLAVEL3699! Who are you kidding?! Are you trying to convince me to think the opposite about politicians? That's remotely possible! And as you said, to be politically correct, that here in tsikot we all have the freedom to speak our minds!

At hindi magnanakaw ang tatay ko. Im very much proud to say that. Punta ka sa probinsya namin at sabihin mo lahat nang politician magnanakaw.

We have the freedom to speak our minds at sana wala tayong maapakan na ibang tao.

    peace!

I admire you for that! But just a thought, I don't see a point of working on a 24-hr job of a government office and pays only less than P25,000/month unless you have vested interest on the position. I really doubt if its social service! Provision on the Constitution says that monthly salary of Philippine senators is only P35,000. I bet, you don't even know it, do you?! Do you ever wonder how they could afford all these fleets of super-expensive luxury vehicles, Multimillion Mansions in exclusive subdivisions, 6-bedroom vacation homes and 200-ft yatchs?

Personally, I have yet to see an honest politician! But I guess the WHISTLEBLOWER LAW will probably be effective really soon and with the BIR's recent thrust of THOROUGH and INDISCRIMINATE LIFESTYLE CHECKS to politicians and their families, these will definitely fry all these unscrupulous statesmen. No need to worry CLAVEL3699 about your father. I'm sure he won't be included! I'm wondering if this is the reason dumadaming mga Pajeros, Troopers, Patrols, etc binebenta sa Autolink.ph to avoid questionable extravagant assets during this lifestyle check.

We'll see if your LIBEL CASE work against Malicious Persecution!

wow! biglang nagkainitan ah. take it easy dudes!

i stay away from topics such as politics and religion. what usually a
casual conversation and exchange of ideas in the beginning always
end up in heated arguments. never fails.

despite the social ills of our country, mahal ko pa rin ang pinas.
that's why i'm planning to go back there for good.

now, let's go back to that one subject that we all love----CARS!

ano mas gusto nyo...yung bagong boxster 987 o yung SLK350 roadster?
hehe...sorry, just tryin' to lighten up this board

^ yeah sure Mugen. A lot of you people have whined about an issue from time to time, when was the last time you did something about it? What you're saying is NOBODY should complain about an issue unless they go on strike. That argument just doesn't hold up. Everyone has a right to say what's on their mind. So we're also not allowed to make opinions on the PBA unless we've played there? Why don't we just focus on what she's saying rather than what she's not doing? Maybe some of you are just afraid to face up to the truth so it's easier to attack her instead. Philippines is in a sad state right now. The worse part about this country are the filipinos who already accept the way things are right now and blindly say everything is ok. Corruption, lying, and cheating are now all accepted as part of filipino culture's morally bankrupt society.

This isn't the same Philippines that our bayanis died for. The Philippines that was deemed as "The Paris of Asia" just less than 30 years ago. The Philippines that many Chinese immigrants risked their lives and swam here because this is the best country in Asia with an economy that ranked #1. This is the Philippines that stood up to the Japs, they took down the Huks while the communist divided Korea and Vietnam. This is the first democratic country in Asia, the only Catholic nation in Asia. It only took less than 30 years to go from #1 to the bottom. It's even worse these days because pinoys now have a reputation of being good maids around the world. Philippines are now synonymous with the word "servants". Revolution always starts at awareness. Unfortunately, pinoys nowadays have a reputation of non-action unless it directly affects their wallet. The sweat of our forefathers that built this paradise went down the drain because of todays generation of pinoys.

    Good point Jologs.

We as individuals can only do so much for our country. Fact is our country is in the top 3 most corrupt countries in the World... and soon to be # 1, and the sad part well we've accepted it as it is.

Nothing wrong with airing out your opinions with whats wrong, ika nga the truth hurts. There's nothing wrong with a good debate wag lang personalan.
