sup:: Maganda rin feedback sa FX5600 Ultra. DX9 compliance means you'll see a lot more details and tricks (on DX9 games, na wala pa). Pero kung speed at speed, ATI talaga mas mabilis. Meron FX5800... 256MB DDR2 RAM. but i doubt if anyone is crazy enough to buy this, coz for the price, pwede ka nang mag palit ng CPU, MOBO and RAM :D

it's nice to see very cool and smooth graphics on
4xAA 4xAF on all games using FX5600 * 350/600
Just save the money and get the Gainward Ti4400 for almost half the price of the FX5600.
Currently there are no games that fully support DX9 yet. So you're probably paying P5,000 more for just the AA and AF? Is it worth it for you?
Depends on where you'll be contented.just my 2 cents...
If you're going to play Half-life 2 or Doom 3 go for Radeon 9700 PRO or higher card, kasi pagbumili ka ng mas mababa na card cgurado bebenta mo rin rin yan paglabas ng Half-Life 2 or Doom 3.
hehe bilis mag depreciate din...kainis noh?

In need of a budget card? Check out this head to head comparison of the offerings from nVidia and ATI.
The FX5200 (new core, but crippled) supports vertex and pixel shader versions 2.0+ like its elders, the 5600 and 5900, while the R9200 (old core, but upgraded, but not much) only supports vertex shader 1.1 and pixel shader 1.4. Since both cards cost about the same, once again, the FX5200 is the better video card, from a value perspective.

Oo nga. its a pity to see your state of the art, hard earned system become obsolete in a couple of months.... but hey, computers were that way ever since hehehe :D Ngayon lang nga, ang bilis talaga ng rollout ng bagong HW.
Oks na sakin yung budget cards. I'll just wait for someone to sell a second hand high end card... marami rin akong kilalang maluho sa kompyuter. :D

if you're favorite game is 3dmark2k1, the ti4400 is for you, but if you're after AA and AF, the FX series (5600 and above) is for you (but of course, you're better off with a radeon ;P)
ako gamit ko ti4200 pero oc na better than 4400 pa!!1 kaya lang unstable sa 3dapps ko like Autocadd..
Get the 5600-ultra naland sup!!

Dudes, Question on nForce2 based MOBOs.....
Does IGP mean na meron nang built in vidcard yung MOBO?
-
July 30th, 2003 08:18 PM #189
pajerokid,
yes... in the case of the nForce2 IGP, it's an integrated GeForce4 MX (take note that the video RAM is shared with the system RAM though, and the dual-channel DDR design requires two identical RAM modules for maximum performance)
yung nForce2 SPP northbridge yung walang on-board video... most of the high-end mobos come with this northbridge

mbt::: hmmm. so i'd be after an SPP northbridge. Im planning to get a new mobo as well.... but i wont be upgrading my 1.3GHz cpu yet coz of budget constraints.
Have you found your mobo yet? The only ones i came across were made by MSI and Epox. I have no idea which is better.
