Toilet flush valves stolen at NAIA | Philstar.com
    before covid,
    we were frequent flyers.
and i noticed that the naia toilets were nearly always manned by cleaners.
yep, it sure looks like a bantay salakay job.

    btw,
the top two most-stolen cars in the US are the ford pick-up and chevy pick-up.
the two most-stolen sedans are the honda civic and honda accord.

    someone said,
"it's not so much for flipping to drive afterward, but for baklas-ing and selling the parts.

true, australia and philippines hindi naglalayo ang presyo ng pagkain, pero ang per hour sa australia ay $21, sa pilipinas P570 per day

Hinde nila naiisip na meron dapat number ng profit to maintain to at least make the business worth it plus to make the investors happy.

    PH inflation

Inflation heats up to new 3-year high in June, spurring calls for bigger rate hike | Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines — Inflation quickened at a pace not seen in over three years in June, a development that would likely prompt the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to be more aggressive in taming prices as Filipinos tighten their belts.

At a news briefing on Tuesday, the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that inflation, as measured by the consumer price index, rose 6.1% year-on-year in June. The last time inflation hit this level was back in November 2018, the year price growth soared to multi-year highs amid a rice supply crisis and falling currency at the time.

Bangko Sentral needs to be more aggressive

masyado dovish ang central bank natin

other central banks have been raising rates much earlier than BSP

takot kasi BSP mahinto ang economic recovery coz the economy is still climbing out of the hole caused by lockdowns in 2020 and 21

i'm sure alam ng bsp but they can't force banks to lend / lend at lower rates

cautious mga bangko during a time madami di nakakabayad ng utang
