That's true even for the middle class not just the rich. Yung driver namin hindi squatter, in fact may utang pa siya samin from 2017 to build their home [emoji23] May lupa pa nga sila sa province, o diba landed?

Napansin ko mga long time family driver mostly tinutulungan yan to buy a home at may motor to go to work sometimes given din ng boss nila.Yung drivers ng close friends and relatives ko wala naman nakatira sa squatter kasi siyempre nak kwento din buhay nila ng mga boss.

Ang mahalaga, we don't equate squatters as all bad. Some are middle class that just can't afford the prices of a decent house and lot.

i equate squaters as bad, baket??? dito sa amin dati 1x per week lang kung dumaan ang truck ng basura, pero sa squatters every day sila dumadaan kase kung hindi daw everyday sila dadaanan eh ikakalat daw nila ang basura nila sa kalsada at mapeperwisyo kame. so nag reklamo kame, ngayon 2x na dumadaan per week yung truck ng basura sa amin, pero sa squatters eh everyday pa din.... pwede ba namin dalin ang basura sa squatters area araw araw para dun kunin ng truck ng basura, syempre hinde...

hindi patas lumaban ang squatters, kame hindi squatters may amilyar sila wala. kame may building permit, sila wala, kame may parking, sila wala kaya ang ginagawa nila eh squatter din ang mga kotse nila dito sa loob ng village namin, iiwan nila kotse nila dito tapos sasakay ng tricycle pupunta sa squatters area, tapos sablay pa pumarada kase nag mamadali para hindi ma sita. kaya dagdag perwisyo sa amin...

That's what I like about first world countries, as long as you have a job, you'll be able to live decent.

But what I noticed with the first world, there's still, I don't know if you'd call it classism? They may all live decently but the white collars still differentiate themselves from the blue collars. I'm close with my German bosses and we have our private jokes, matapobre din kasi like my German AVP pag may staff kami na medyo "slow" he'd tell me, he or she should be working as the cleaning lady (janitor sa Germany). Yung German VP ko naman sinabihan kami ng controller ko not to date down like a construction worker daw. I miss them so much!
