Parang kahirao ijustify ng high tuition fee pag online learning.
ang thinking siguro ng mga school you're paying for the brand (a diploma with the school's name)

GMA News TV employees stunned by layoffs announcement

The management of GMA Network has terminated staffers of GMA News TV (GNTV), its other free-to-air channel, Rappler learned.

At least 10 news and public affairs shows of GNTV were affected by the layoffs, a move that insiders said stunned employees.

The list includes its flagship newscast State of the Nation (SONA); the long-running afternoon newscast Balitanghali; Quick Response Team (QRT); and News TV Live. They had been off-air since the lockdown due to the pandemic started in March.

it's not easy to come up with a good online learning program.
and each school has to come up with multiple programs. for their multiple subjects.
and the students have to be evaluated, as well.
the entire thing needs constant vigilance.

    these are teachers.
these are not computer nerds who can write complicated computer programs, half-asleep.
    heh heh.

    my guess is,
these schools have computer people around, to make sure everything goes well.

    i remember our old teacher,
"when you go computerized, you are not making it easy for you. you are just trading one set of problems for another set of problems."

I don't see anything wrong sa pag open nila. May pinasok na silang investment, tapos na contruction ng store, malamang on the way na mga stocks, and most probably, hired na mga employees, so mas malugi sila if hindi nila ituloy pag open or push back pa nila opening date.

Besides, with our new way of life of staying more at home, especially kids and oldies, and the new norm of work and study at home, there's no better time to open a new furniture store.

Is there an opening date already for Ikea? It is still under construction probably 1 to 2yrs time.

Yeah. Knowing SM, mahal yan sigurado. Eventually gagayahin lang din naman ng mga local manufacturers yung ibang designs.

Luggage business must really suck when no one is travelling...

Tripologie travel gear concept store in Eastwood Mall has recently extended its warehouse sale until Sept. 13, 2020, with up to 80% off on bags and luggage brands like Wenger, Thule, Elle, Skechers and National Geographic. Visits will be made by appointment only, with a limited number of people on-site.
