Hybrid na, wala na sa quarantine level yan.

Depende na sa LGU which I Agree, kailangan pa rin minimize labas ng tao.

For example 4 tao sa bahay, isa lang nag work so pwede lumabas basta melrn ID or certificate tapos yun isa member meron QP, pag inalis mo QP 4 pwede na lumabas ngayon 2 lang makakalabas

    stores inside malls = dead

Daez, Fully Booked: stand-alone stored are doing much better than stores inside malls; 29 out of 30 branches now open; we are Building up our online stores- Sales there have grown in multiples; even before Covid, globally - Book business has been flat in last decade
this pandemic is very good at accelerating things

Daez, Fully Booked: pandemic has forced us to accelerate digital shift - we’ve shifted in last 5 months, what would we Had planned to do in next 5 years; i worry about physical retail; like big blockbusters, many released also delayed to Sept/ Oct
cook books and gardening books... no surprise there

Daez, Fully Booked: cook books and gardening books big hit these days; E-Book Had been flat too in last 10 years, early adopters have adopted, those who havent yet are loyal to physical books; physical books are hard to replace

pandemic destroyed restaurant business model -- large spaces with tables and chairs

restaurant business reduced to kitchen (take out, deliver)

many square meters of space cost money but not earning

domino effect on commercial real estate (do you have a tenant that's a restaurant?)

domino effect on suppliers to restaurants

also commercial real estate -- office buildings

companies don't need as much space as pre-pandemic

    wfh/remote work, skeletal

    tenants will renegotiate with landlords

things that were supposed to happen 5 years in the future are happening now

e-commerce and mobile payment adoption would be slower if it weren't for the pandemic

    the pandemic accelerated things

pansin ko dami na gumagamit ng gcash / paymaya

    don't build more malls

what we need are more warehouses and fulfillment centers

    residential real estate

people realize it's not healthy to live in overcrowded areas

maybe people will move out of big cities

remote work makes it possible to make a living far from city

    internet infrastructure critical

Yung friends ko from the province living in condos ganyan nga ginawa. Madami sila umuwi sa parents nila sa province meron Laguna, Pangasinan even Baguio. Nakaka lungkot at takot mamuhay magisa during the pandemic kasi. Swerte nila, manila sweldo sa province na cost of living.

UCPB probing P167M bank hack since June | Bilyonaryo

State-owned United Coconut Planters Bank said it has begun a formal investigation of a malware attack that enabled Nigerian hackers to siphon off P167 million sine June.

The hackers were able to access UCPB’s core system in the middle of an online security upgrade.

“UCPB is investigating the incident in close coordination with the NBI and other concerned authorities. Pending completion of the investigation which started mid-June, the bank continues to review and strengthen its IT and security controls,” the bank said in a statement sent to Bilyonaryo.

“The bank would like to assure its stakeholders that clients’ funds were not affected by the incident,” UCPB said, noting that it remains to be a strong and profitable institution with a net income of P2.9 billion in the first half.
