IMHO, you don't need to invoke the MDT. Just have your Coast Guard vessels on station to let the Chinese know you are not gonna be cowed into leaving your territorial waters and neither will you let your fishermen be bullied into leaving their traditional fishing grounds.

If they initiate hostilities, even the US can trigger the MDT if it sees fit. There is no language there that says the PH has to initiate the MDT.

Minsan ang sama po ng iniisip ko.. Not once pero nag-wish na ako many times na sana magkaroon na lang ng Earthquake or Tsunami na enough to destroy all the infrastructure na napatayo ng China sa dagat na hindi naman kanila.. Not thinking na meron innocent lives na madadamay dahil sumusunod lang sila sa utos and yun lang din work nila to survive..

Pero kapag nambu bully talaga China.. Napapa wish na naman ako.. Slightly, nakakaramdam ako ng inis kapag nakakakita ako ng Chinese sa area ng office ko.. Ang dami nila nagwu work dito..

Makadura na lang kung saan tapos kung malasing sila grupo din sila na maligalig.. Tapos masasalubong mo pagpasok office.. Kaya slightly naiinis ako sa inaasal nila..

Naiintindihan ko na tuloy ng slight kapag tayo naman dayuhan sa ibang bansa.. Meron din local sa bansa na yun na inis satin or aa dayo in general.. (parang trespassing lang ang dating)

Anyway looking forward ako na sana may positive naman mangyari against sa pambubully ng China.. Dami na din may reklamo aa kanila..

Most likely money, maybe billions of dollars. Even before he was elected into the Presidency, there was news of Chinese planes always parked in the Davao airport. There was also news of Chinese barges hauling sand from the beaches in Davao used to make those islands. “Red flags” were all over the place but people chose to ignore them. His spin doctors were also very good in diverting the facts, using the previous admins blunders, like the Mamasapano & Yolanda incidents, years of ignoring the needs of the poor & only the rich benefitting with the gap between the poor & the rich widening.
I really doubt if this latest incident will have any bearing on his popularity. He insulted the God almighty, the Pope & the Catholic Church, insults women, kills the poor & the innocent and yet, his minions still won by a landslide. No one really cares about how China is slowly eating us in terms of grabbing our territory & jobs. I just hope this latest incident will open peoples eyes of the people.

Agreed sir Bloo, they all just want a piece of the cake that past people in power also had. Get as much as possible while in a position to do so and **** the rest. Nothing changes, only the names and faces do. No matter who sits in Malacanang, they will always owe somebody something, everyone of them is beholden to some other person or groups of people.

Unfortunately, too many people have been bought or brainwashed already for the majority to realize the truth.

It will take generations for this to stop, if it ever will.
