So why is somebody replying to my question for another person ? What is this, kuyog ?
I really find it simply unfair that most people here--apparently a consensus among whom has been formed of anti-admin sentiments--automatically react with degrading posts, one with blatantly vulgar words that obviously has no place in a forum especially one whose regulars fashion themselves to be educated and enlightened, to my own posts because they happen to have different opinions compared to mine.
So, you do not want to be considered Delawans, yet at the first chance you get you jump at someone's posts with labels of de-de-es ? I have tried to reply within the reasonable bounds of common internet decorum in spite of literally getting ganged up on, yet it is I who is a troll from a troll farm ?

Thailand where the ASEAN Summit is being held ?
Haha no, sorry. What about you, sir ? Beach and surf ?
Actually, even these elites have to work--tend to family businesses. Of course they can simply live off the interest or delegate someone to run everything for them, if they don't mind losing much of their fortunes.
Just saying, lest someone accuse me of oversimplifying things because apparently, that's the de-de-es stereotype around here, and if you happen to support the admin you are exactly that.
Dont call me sir, Im not a knight.I did not have the luxury of vacation, as they say, no rest for the wicked.
Don't get emotional about the branding as this administration (and the trolls) has successfully divided the citizens - anybody against digong is an elite and/or a delawan. Even a simple dissenting opinion or a call to decency will get you labeled as an addict or worse, threat of being raped or killed.
As I have said, I voted for RoRo so you can call me a delawan. Ikaw, sinong pinili mo?

Well, that is a solid Liberal Party vote if there ever was one, Roxas-Robredo. Thank you for being candid enough to admit that.
I myself was totally undecided until the last week before election day.
It would seem ironic now, but I was actually choosing between Roxas and Duterte, but leaning towards Roxas being that--one, he was "endorsed" by the outgoing administration and I was a big fan of continuity and stability at the time; and two, there did not seem to be a better alternative.
What swayed me to the opposite direction was Trillanes' theatrical exposés. His bank account revelations up until the last day of campaigning made me think hard about his true intentions. If he really had these "aces" up his sleeves he should have revealed them much earlier, not on virtually the eve of elections when it amounted to no more than mudslinging. It made me think hard why so much effort was being made by these people just to make sure Duterte does not get to within sniffing distance of Malacañan.
Events leading up to Duterte's assumption of office, after poll results were already known--further convinced me I made the best choice among all the candidates. I mean, Duterte had yet to take office and yet the established media entities were already working in overdrive demolishing his image.
As for branding or PR, as I have said--it goes both ways. For every Mocha, there's a Jover/PAB. I think it is important for anyone to realize this, it does not matter which side of the fence he or she is on.
I don't really think the citizenry, the people are divided. There's an overwhelming majority who support the government. And there's a few who do not. It is not even remotely fair to mention the word "divided" to describe this.
Again, I already said what I think of surveys, but yeah that's what the surveys are saying now.
Cool! Eww, DeDeEs!
Sorry, just trying to lighten the mood. Even my immediate families back in Cebu and abroad are all digong supporters and they are all proud if I call them DDS and they call me panot (I'm bald by the way). I love my family!
Now back to topic, how do you feel about the extra-judicial killings that happened without the benefit of fair trial? What is your opinion on the war against drugs - is it successful or not? Do you think Bato, Go and Revilla should be in the senate?

Haha I myself enjoy some good-natured banter.
This may surprise you, but I am actually thankful for the anti-drug war. Before Duterte, I think we were on the verge of treating meth almost like the common cigarette.Everybody knew it was bad, but people just looked the other way when they knew or saw someone get into the habit. Worse, because people who fall into this vice usually lost work as a result of the side effects--no sleep, extreme paranoia, erratic behavior--and also because dealing is so lucrative, they became street-level dealers themselves. When I first started joining the workforce, "shabu" was simply mentioned as a one-time experience, usually in parties, and never done again--merely a thing that someone bragged about to seem "cool".
It eventually became almost like an ordinary thing just before Duterte tried to ostracize users and pushers on a national scale.
Is the anti-drug war successful ? I think considering everything, yes. Is it a complete success where nobody uses meth now, of course no.
This, in spite of the resistance from human rights advocates. I have nothing against human rights. But to me the biggest effect of the protests and resistance from HR advocates is they simply emboldened the drug suspects to continue doing their illegal drug-related activities. Human rights unfortunately also became politicized instead of simply being a genuine advocacy without political color.
Oops I didn't notice this is getting long already, sorry haha. I'll give my two cents on EJK next. What is your take on the anti-drug war, by the way ?
Oh you mean HR is responsible for the closeness of Peter Lim to digong and the connection between infamous drug lords and Polong? Who among the duterte clan are hooked on illegal drugs again? It is insanity to expect digong to stop the illegal drugs. Meanwhile, police brutality and impunity are abound. Tell me about ejk.

C'mon, do you really believe Paulo Duterte is in cahoots with drug lords, that he has a "Dragon Tattoo" as alleged by Trillanes ?
Polong is not immune from criminal and/or civil cases himself, unlike the President who is immune until his term ends. If he is so guilty then why hasn't Trillanes taken advantage of this by filing a criminal case ?
And why would they even wage war against drugs if their family is so heavily invested in it ? Isn't that just a little bit stupid ? I read someone here say "to eliminate rivals and corner the market".Does Duterte need to declare the war on a national scale just to kill off alleged rivals and take over the whole market ? He could have had them killed off silently like a lot of drug lords do in the movies, right ?
He has badmouthed meth and its horrible effects countless times, why did he even do that at all, to shrink the actual market itself, not to mention the death of drug suspects who died because he has waged the drug war ?
If he and his family were profiting as drug lords themselves shouldn't they have employed a lower-profile approach and not risked an International Criminal Court case against his very person ?
It does not make sense.
In fact I have to state here, it is prudent to take a look at those public personalities who are actually calling for a stop to the anti-drug war, and examine their intentions.
It makes a lot of sense. Pretty simple, hide in plain sight.
Why so quiet when billions of pesos worth of shabu got past Customs? Why exonerate Chinese Triads and shift the blame to Taiwanese?
The Tanauan mayor who got sniped, idolized Digong and ws supposedly vehemently anti-drugs. After getting killed suddenly got into Digong's "drug-matrix".
Our drug problem is not an Escobar, but a Noriega.
So this "conspiracy theory" is not ridiculous to you ?
What do you mean kept quiet, didn't PDEA chief Aaron Aquino himself lead the investigation into that Customs meth smuggling? What, is he not part of this administration now ?
What do you mean exonerate Chinese Triads ? Hasn't the PDEA been vocal about ALL of these foreign drug syndicates ?
That Tanauan mayor, if I remember correctly, got into the drug matrix long before he was killed. So now, the "hide in plain sight" principle may apply to Duterte but not to that Tanauan mayor by your standards ?![]()
