I'd be surprised if Digong finishes his term. Masyado maraming ma impluwensyang tao binabangga. Madadagdagan pa yan, susunod daw ibubunyag mga negosyanteng di nagbabayad ng tamang buwis.

May kasabihan, If you put a frog in boiling water, it'll jump straight out. If you put it in cold water and gradually bring it to the boil, it'll sit right there until it dies.

Style Digong, naka set yung init to high, gusto kulo agad.

What is good for us may not be good for PGong and vice versa.

So tuloy lang and EJK at kawalan ng due process after all that is good in the mind of PGong.

Taking the time to read and understand the words of Cardinal Rosales:

    1. He's giving credit to the decisiveness of P-Diggy (which is due and standard in diplomacy if you ask me);
    2. Placing his words in a positive manner to try to prevent further divisiveness, which is what is happening. He does not say that he agrees with what is going on per se (such as EJK in particular) and he in fact points that there are indeed shortcomings and that these have to be prayed for.

Basically, he is trying to be constructive with the issues at hand to prevent a further burning of bridges.

TOR, what now? Sto. Bato said on national television that he would kill Mayor Espinosa if he would find out that the mayor was only lying.

TOR, time now to walk the talk. Why the hell the elder Espinosa is still alive?

PNP: Seizure of P88M shabu shows Leyte town mayor knew of son’s drug trade

    August 10, 2016 04:13pm

ALBUERA, Leyte -- A ranking official of the Eastern Visayas police said on Wednesday that the 11 kilos of shabu worth P88 million that were seized inside the house of Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr., only showed that he knew of his son's illegal operation, contrary to his claims he did not.

Senior Supt. Allan Cuevilla, police deputy director for operations of the Philippine National Police in Eastern Visayas, said the items recovered from the mayor's residence showed that the elder Espinosa not only knew of his son Kerwin Espinosa's illegal drug operations, he was involved in it, too.

The joint teams of police also recovered components to create improvised explosives and an improvised claymore bomb.

Members of the Regional Public Safety Battalions helped in the raid of the house of Espinosa at Sitio Tinago, Barangay Benolho, an interior village about 250 meters from the main road.

It was the biggest haul of shabu in Eastern Visayas, where the shabu distribution was said to be controlled by the mayor's son, Kerwin.

Days ago, the elder Espinosa surrendered to PNP Director General Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa, the Philippine National Police chief, on Aug. 2 before the lapse of the 24-hour deadline set by President Duterte for him and his son to surrender or a shoot-on-sight order would be issued against them.

He denied that he was part of his son's illegal drugs operations and tearfully appealed to Kerwin to surrender.

The elder Espinosa and his family stayed at the "White House," Dela Rosa's official residence until Aug. 6, when he went to Cebu City and had himself confined in a suite room of a private hospital.

The house was empty when the policemen from the the RPSB, Albuera police and the Leyte Provincial Police Office conducted the raid about 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

The operatives found 11 packs of high grade shabu, components for improvised bombs and improvised claymore bomb inside the cabinet under the kitchen sink.

The packs of shabu were placed inside a white plastic bag. SFM

Duterte says he deliberately read old list of 'narco officials'

“According to them (critics), there must be something wrong with the announcement because how can they be involved? I'm sorry, the intelligence reports say they are involved. The fact of death or retirement or resignation or dismissal of a particular judge cannot erase the fact that those people are involved by the time they were in office,” Panelo told reporters in Malacanang.

“The president never said that they are alive. He just announced the names that according to intelligence reports were involved one time or another. So there is no error,” he added.

Panelo said while the list is based on raw intelligence reports, such information become “evidence of probative value” when presented in court.

“We heard the president and according to him it has been validated and revalidated and in fact other names have not been announced because he has been asking for a revalidation,” the president’s lawyer said.

Duterte tirade vs Goldberg not meant to be public statement–Abella

“First and foremost, it was not meant to be a public statement. It was addressed to a certain audience and the comments were confined to a certain audience,” Abella told reporters in a news briefing.
Pinaka high grade na shabu siguro ang sinisinghot nitong Abella.

    17. Duterte's promise to increase the salaries of the soldiers remains just that-- a promise.

    Thursday, August 11, 2016 7:50PM
The government cannot fulfill President Rodrigo Duterte's promise to raise the salaries of members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines this month.

Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno said on Thursday that there's nothing in the 2016 national budget that can be realigned to increase the salaries .

In a Senate hearing on the Salary Standardization Law, Diokno said the Duterte administration is committed to double the take home pay of the country's uniformed personnel but wouldn't be able to do so within the year.

"We cannot promise (an increase) this August because, as you know, there is nothing in the budget for that," Diokno said on questioning by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

Duterte had earlier promised to increase soldiers' salaries this month. Last week, the president added that the salaries would double by December.

“By December, you’d have doubled your salaries. This August, umpisa na, ngayong August. Tignan ninyo iyang pay checks ninyo. Nandiyan na iyan,” Duterte told soldiers in Cebu City.

    Promise not feasible

During the committee hearing, Trillanes admitted being "surprised" by Duterte's pronouncement that servicemen can enjoy a pay hike by August, with their salaries being doubled further by December.

"As you know, the soldiers are holding on to the word of their Commander-in-Chief... Pipila yung mga sundalo sa ATM (this August), 'di ba?," said Trillanes, when asking Diokno if such promise from Duterte was ineeded feasible.

"You better advise your president because he’s been making commitments and promises left and right. Ayaw nating masira yung credibility niya, na he’s just a big talker," said the lawmaker.

"Noong sinabing 'August meron na kayo, incremental increase,' palakpakan yung mga sundalo eh. Then here is our DBM secretary saying it’s not gonna happen," added Trillanes.

    Avoiding violation

Diokno said he didn't want to commit a violation of the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) rule just to fulfill Duterte's promise.

"You cannot spend on something that is not authorized by Congress," he added.

The DAP rule Diokno was refering to was outlined in the Supreme Court ruling in July 2014 that bars the following acts:

    the withdrawal of unobligated allotments from the implementing agencies, and the declaration of the withdrawn unobligated allotments and unreleased appropriations as savings prior to the end of the fiscal year and without complying with the statutory definition of savings contained in the General Appropriations Act (GAA);
the cross-border transfers of the savings of the executive to augment the appropriations of other offices outside the executive; and
the portion of the DAP that allows the use of unprogrammed funds even without a certification from the National Treasurer saying that revenue collections exceeded the revenue targets due to non-compliance with the conditions provided in the relevant GAA.
Despite the current budget restriction on a pay hike, Diokno still assured the public that the government would put in place measures to "supplement" the current salaries of policemen and servicemen.

"We are doing everything we can at the moment. If fact, we’re trying to supplement their income, one way or the other," Diokno said.

"Maybe (in the) last quarter, we’ll give them rice allowance of 20 kilos per month for every month. Same thing with (conditional cash transfer) beneficiaries but we’re very careful not to spend for something Congress never authorized," he added.

Diokno said adjusting the salaries and improving the pension system of uniformed men would be "a huge cost that we probably have to think very carefully."

I just cant reconcile these former classmates of mine ns kuntodo arte nun college at lagi nandidiri, then they 'd marry Whites who are used to tissue paper to wipe their butttts.
