Ayusin din ni PGong yung dangerous drug acts. Uso na ngayon cocktails of drugs na hindi prohibited para madali ma-import at madistribute mga raw materials. Simple way of circumnavigating the illegal drugs law. Dumidiskarte na mga real drug lords.

How about you? Do you have the balls to fight and die for this country? Other than selling Pomponazzi, have you led men in battle and saw them dying valiantly for this country?

geez, so easy to be an internet tough guy these days.

think hard and long before involving most filipinos in war. it's a far cry from a century ago.

it's not like most people are as patriotic and combat adept as the Finns in WW2.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

Really, the only way to stop a bully is to stand up and learn to defend yourself. "Show" the bully bakit dapat kang pangilagan. Hindi yung papakita mo pang takot na takot ka.

Sa pinanakita ni psycho, eh parang gusto pa niyang maging tuta ng Tsina ang Pilipinas.

Carpio: War is an impossible option

Still, Carpio said that while the Philippines has no intention of going to war against China, the country still needs “to develop a credible defense posture that’s like what Vietnam is doing.”

He said Vietnam has acquired six Kilo class submarines, frigate, missiles and combat aircraft from Russia.

“We have to develop our own self-defense just to make it costly for any country to grab our territory,” Carpio added.

What's funny is: 28 years. 28 years in Davao, with decades of the Davao Death Squad and a hardline stance against drugs... and there are still drug pushers in Davao.

What we are seeing now is simply the thinning out of the ones with ties to the police. Making the ones who remain much harder to catch.
Yup. 28 years and counting given that they are giving the Binays a run for their money in terms of family dynasties.

Pimentel sees 81 senators under federal gov't

PDP-Laban is the political party of incoming president Rodrigo Duterte, who is also strongly pushing for a federal system of government.

Duterte requested PDP-Laban to initiate discussions on federalism. The party has called for a two-day conference starting Monday to debate on the matter.

There is no party stand yet about federalism.

In the conference in Manila, PDP-Laban founder and former Senator Aquilino "Nene" Pimentel shared some elements of the proposal including the creation of 11 Federal States, 81 Senators, electing President and Vice President in tandem, and adding territories in Sabah as part of the Federal Republic.

NO! ...

And you kaya mo ba ang buhay na may putukan araw araw? Baka ibang putukan alam mo? Saka anong kinalaman ng POMPONAZZI dito sa usapan na eto?

State workers to get another bonus in November

    By Jess Diaz*(The Philippine Star)*|*Updated June 29, 2016 - 12:00am

    *1**7*googleplus1**0*

MANILA, Philippines – The more than 1.5 million government personnel will receive another bonus equivalent to a month’s salary in November.

State workers will also get a uniform P5,000 cash gift.

The incentives are mandated under Executive Order No. 201, which President Aquino issued last February to fulfill a promise to upgrade government compensation.

Under the guidelines Budget Secretary Florencio Abad issued recently, the year-end bonus and cash gift would be given not earlier than Nov. 15.

Covered by the incentives are all state agencies, government corporations and local government units.

Entitled to the bonus and cash gift are personnel who have rendered “at least a total or aggregate of four months of service from Jan. 1 to Oct. 31 of the current year” and who remain in the service as of Oct. 31.

    Headlines ( Article MRec ), pagematch: 1, sectionmatch: 1

Those who retired or were separated from the service before Oct. 31 would receive a prorated share of the year-end bonus and P5,000 cash gift.

Agencies were authorized to charge the necessary funds to their respective budgets.

The government agencies are responsible for the proper payment of the incentives and will answer for any disbursement not covered by the guidelines. The recipient-employee will be asked to refund an unauthorized bonus and cash gift.

Last May 15, six days after the general elections, government workers received their mid-year bonus, which is also equivalent to one-month salary.

Under the law, bonuses and incentives not exceeding P82,000 a year would be exempt from income tax.

This means that most government personnel will be paid their year-end bonus in full.

June 3, Thursday, a regular working day – Palace

A well-placed source from the Presidential Management Staff (PMS) said the request to make June 30 a holiday must come from the incoming administration, adding Duterte's camp had no such request.

This was confirmed by Bong Go, incoming PMS chief of the Duterte administration, in a text message to Rappler: "No. Ordinary working day."
While Mr. Andanar is saying another thing. Sign of things to come...

    let's make something very clear.

we do not want war. we do not seek it nor even wish it to some other nation. war is bad, people suffer, people get killed.

what we want is a strong armed forces. that is why we want the afp modernization to push through. wanting a modern, capable military is not wanting war. we have a need to defend our people and nation from those who wish to do us harm. and having the means for defense acts as a deterrence to war. it's like "you can't harm us without you getting hurt yourself" sort, just like what a simple sticker on your fence saying "beware of dog" deters would be robbers from entering your premises. wanting a strong armed force to defend the nation "just in case" and to support our claims of territory is not automatically wanting war to happen.

what we do not understand is this president elect telling the citizens of this country that the defense material that are now coming, bought by virtue of a law passed by congress, is a waste. how a commander-in-chief could say that and still expect his soldiers to follow his orders, much less respect him, i can not fathom. stupidity has to have limits.

Amen, making a stand and trying to improve the army does not mean war automatically, it is just saying that if it ever comes to it, at least you will be able to put up a fight and not just roll over like a coward.

If you give China your finger, they and other countries might think (sad to say they probably thought so already) the hand and other parts are for grab as well. A part of a country, however small is still part of the country. Respect.
