Not Generalizing.
Just wondering why there are old people who still vote for the marcoses in places other than the solid North considering they experienced the Martial Law era. That is why i was asking those old people why they still vote for the marcoses.
If you know why they are voting for a someone you hate then its the best way to try to find a way to change their mind.

Actually coming from the provinces, i was told stories before the Martial law by parents and grand parents.
Mas magulo daw talaga sa provinces such that the marines and army would sometimes have to go inside towns to bring peace and order.
Politicians aligned with marcos were like feudal lords during those time, threatening to kill anyone who opposes them.




Sa provinces not here in NCR. especially those distant places, not necessarily northern province. people in visayas and mindano mayrun.

Which is why i ask how is it that people during those martial law era want to vote for BBM, yet young people who were never alive during those time so anti-marcos.

On the contrary, I’ve heard & read a lot of comments of the youth who want to vote back the Marcoses, having this false notion that the FM’s Martial Law years were the Golden years.

OT: An example of the excesses of politicians from that clan, how they really want to be royalty. Cong Martin Romualdez owns, among his cars, 2 Rolls Royces worth P40M each. Public servant yan ha?

Its the third or maybe fourth most powerful office in the country. They got to be part of that group.

And the people calling them tanga ano naachieve nila sa buhay? May progression kaya?

tanga ang senator, if he doesn't do his job right.
he may be intelligent and all that,
but if he doesn't do his job right,

The same way may duterte supporters, may Pnoy supporters. Si Trump nga half of America bumoto dun eh. I think it boils down to personal beliefs and what resonates to a person. Yung iba ayaw sa drug war, pero yung ibang pro drug war they actually believe it's good for the country.

I believe there are people that are beyond winning over but also believe meron pa din pwede pa magbago ang isip. But importantly not all voters are loyalists, marami satin are impressionable audiences. Ito yung mga kailangan ireach out and i educate.

Kaya yung mga masa voters they're not necessarily bobo, biktima din sila ng misinformation and panloloko.
