November 22nd, 2008 05:04 PM #21mga sir, my vanette ako but still questionable sa akin yung about sa mga spark plugs nya sadya bang patay yung apat na linya sa kabila nung makina o dapat yung 8 na spark plug dapat paganahin? nabili ko kasi 2ng vanette ko 2nd hand. paki advise lang po sa mga nakakaalam sa nissan vanette... thanks.

November 24th, 2008 12:53 AM #22[SIZE=2]mr. charli_rai. good day to you. ang pagkakaalam ko kaya 8 ang spark plug nyan para hindi sya hard starting sa tag lamig or in winter season. dito sa pilipinas, hindi tayo makakaranas ng winter season di ba? tropical country tayo. so, kaya siguro 4 na lang pinagagana. yang vanette na binili mong 2nd hand surplus yan galing japan. sa japan may winter season. pero kung gusto mong paganahin pa yung 4 na spark plug walang problema. I think it gives more power to your car. nga lang in times of changing the old spark plugs, instead of 4, 8 yung papalitan mo? expensive. sya nga pala ang baby ko vanette '96 but i replaced the motor to diesel LD20 since 2002. drive carefully?

mga sir me tanong lang po ako sa vanette users lahat kasi ng mekanko napagtanungan ko overheating daw ang vanette totoo po ba? kung overheating ang vanette may remedyo po ba para maiwasana ang ganun sakit?

November 27th, 2008 04:37 AM #25good day mr. aga cruz. totoo yung sinasabi ng mekaniko na overheating nga ang vanette. may remedyo naman talaga para mawala ang pag overheat ng vanette. actually, may magaling kaming mekaniko noon. nasa probinsya nga lang sya at nasa maynila pa ako noon. humingi ako ng advice. tanggalin ko daw yung thermostat nya. by DIY, after I removed the thermostat. okay na sya. yung normal temperature nya since brand new, lalong bumaba. kahit nga sa traffic naka A/C na ako, hindi sya nag o-overheat. other remedy that I know, palitan mo yung radiator nya ng "3 rows" from "2 rows". may nabibili na ngayon na "3 rows" para sa vanette locally. nabili ko yung radiator sa may ABAD SANTOS right side before recto. if you are coming from tayuman-abad santos going to recto. that was since 2002.

November 27th, 2008 04:57 AM #26----mr. charli_ari, maaring tataas nga ang kosumo sa gasolina kapag pinagana mo pa yung 4 na spark plugs. try to observe kung tataas ang temperature nya kapag pinagana mo ang 8 na spark plugs. kapag tumataas yung temperature, malamang 4 na lang ang pagaganahin mo?
sa mga spare parts, sa nisparts-banawe near quezon ave. branch at sa nisman recto-benavides. yung LD20 naman, surplus sya nung binili ko. Php 21k kasama na yung transmission at A/C compressor. that's all for now bro. gobless..

Another way to arrest the overheating is to change the position of the second condenser, and then add an aux fan, so that it does not block the flow of air going to the radiator. Replacing the radiator to 3 rows will definitely help. Also, check your clutch fan.

Patulong naman, me vanette din ako luma na, hard starting and white smoke pag umaga.Tama ba yung engine nya eh Z20 tapos yung number kasi mga iba kasi LD20 sa mga napagtanungan ko po.

December 1st, 2008 03:23 AM #30to iluvnissan: kapag engine mo gasoline fed, Z20 ang model ng engine. kapag diesel fed naman, LD20 ang model ng engine. ngayon, kung Z20 engine ng vanette mo, kapag hard starting, ang causes nyan ay:
1. electrical: contact point, spark plugs, high tension wires and coil
2. fuel filter
3. fuel pump(inside the gasoline tank)
4. engine oil ( baka masyado ng malapot ang langis. needs change oil)
5. loose engine compression (overused of the car needs engine overhauling)kaya mausok.
kung ang engine mo naman ay LD20 malamang surplus yang vanette mo. 2nd hand, mausok nga yan. ang pwedeng cause ng hard starting sa diesel fed engine:
1. fuel filter need to be replaced. baka barado na.
2. injection pump fuel line strainer baka marami ng dumi. barado na.
3. fuel pump. baka hindi na gumagana.
4. possible air intake in fuel line sytem. this must be remove by bleeding. pump manually by hand at the injection pump.
5. glow plugs. maybe one them are not producing heat upon heating before starting the engine.
6. to much smoke. needs injection pump calibration.
that's all I know kaibigan. sana makatulong sayo ang mga suggestions ko. drive safely.
