Malakas ang Patrol. Baka no-boost yung nasakyan mo na unit so mga 100bhp lang yun. Kaya niya umakyat ng Kennon kahit may trailer pa.

I put a boost gauge on mine para alam ko if may problem sa turbo (which happens yearly siguro). Php500 lang naman ang boost gauge (Circuit brand), Php200 yung gauge pod/housing, and Php300 ipakabit kay Jemson sa Banawe.

5.5-7km/L ang fuel economy niya (from my recent computations). Kasama na diyan yung mga emergency runs when responding.

With regard to the FC, what i heard from owners before was between 4-5km/L
and can get as low as 3.

As for the tires,we would suggest getting slightly larger tires as the stock tires are actually small for the Patrol if you look at it. it can fit 275 or 285 R16s easily.

newbie ako dito..been reading all your posts regarding patrol GU. i am planning to buy one pag uwi ko pinas end of this month. Target ko yung mga model 98~2003 since budget lng is around 650~700k. may mga nakita nko na gas model 2002 around 575k~600k tapos 4x4 pa daw. mga diesel model 2001~02 na 4x2 nsa 700k up.

i need your advice kung i should go for gas para may extra money pko for upgrades or go for diesel and ipon nlng ulit for upgrades.

Kung may mga kakilala pla kayo nagbebenta para atleast sigurado di binaha at wala problema..pls let me know..

Pero gusto ko yung Royale.. Kaso napakamahal. May nakasalubong na ako color black

Im just a newbi here and i just got my new 2001 diesel nissan patrol . I have a problem with my turbo cause the turbocharger installed is not designed for nissan patrol thats why mag malayo ang byahe nahihirapan ang makina. Perhaps you know somebody who is selling a reasonable turbocharger, slightly used or brandnew. thanks , i would appreciate it

sir, dapat ba malakas sa akyatan ang patrol? i was expecting kasi na kahit sa akyatan, as if ung power nya ay parang ung power nya sa kapatagan pa rin pag nag oovertake. could there be something wrong kung mabagal at di nya kaya mag overtake sa akyatan. like sa kennon rd. sana papuntang baguio. diesel sya at 2002 model

Sir ang speed ko sa Badiwan Section ng Marcos Highway dito sa baguio which is a long steep climb is 110-120kph * gear 5. Mukhang mahina yang patrol mo, eh wala naman talagang mga steep inclines sa kenon road.

Sir I have the same prob too. May kalampag sa harap. Brand new din lahat sa tie rod ko at stabiliZer link and bushing pero may kalampag pa din. Kapag rough road lng sya tumutunog specialy sa cement road. Kapag aspalt wala kalampag. San kaya nanggagaling un? Alam mo na ba?

I really learned a lot from this thread, the Nissan Patrol really impressed me, not much complexity on the engine repairs or maintenance wise, I do my own car tinkering when I have time (since I own a reference manual for it). So far, the patrol has been very great that I'm opting to sell my Euro cars and keep this.

I was wondering if 22 or 24's would look good on this truck, hrmmm...

I know what you feel, it becomes irritating then annoying. Have you tried the steering arms? steering column shaft? maybe a rattle in the hood, sometime those little rubber stoppers can become worn out or broken? maybe the coil needs greasing or hose inserts. Hope this helps.

guys, saan kayo bumibili ng cheaper oem parts sa banawe? oem aternator is 90k sa casa with install, grabeng mahal, 27k lang sa pajero casa price nayun. kakahimatay. ok pa naman charging yung pulley maingay na. paparepair ko yung luma as reserve, but i need oem asap.

Try mo sa Youngbros sa Banawe baka meron. Pero sa Wizzard Electrical services(along Tomas Morato), meron sila usually alternator ng GU, surplus nga lang at i think around 5K yata + installation. May warranty naman ng a few months sa kanila.

I don't use mine as much after I got my 80 series. Ano ang fascia ng Patrol mo? Yung foglamp holder, dinodrowing lang namin at pinapagawa sa stainless steel/bullbar shop.

Cheap OEM parts sa Universal Motors Pasong Tamo Extension (Anthony Lee Center). Mas mura pa kesa Banawe (dun din daw kumukuha ng OEM parts ang Banawe stores). But if you need replacement parts, wala nun sa UMC.
