    I used to keep a removable sub on the rear passenger footwell. An 8" sub can also be made to fit behind the rear seat according to some guys i've consulted before.

    diko yan ba ang pioneer na thin mount sub? how much is it and how is the bass compared to normal subs?

    BTW 109 kung type mo low priced you can always get a Frontier Standard...upgrade mo na lang tires to 15" rims...eto na pinaka mura na presyo....yung friend ko na ahente ng Nissan Balintawak gives me out a P40,000 discount whenever we buy a pick up from him (para sa office)...

    Sa standard ang amenities lang naman na nawala ay yung power windows, lock, sideview mirrors and antenna...all of which pede naman mong mai-upgrade latter on (marami na rin sa Capalanga nun by this time).


    never pa ako nagpalit ng compressor at feeling ko may sira. lumalamig pa sya pero kapag natraffic ako ng sobra, nawawala na ang lamig. ganun ba ang sira ng compresor nyo? ano kaya sira ng akin?

    Anyone with an open type K&N filter on their Frontier? I've talked to quiksie regarding this(good input pare! Salamat ulit.). Im really interested in changing the stock filter to this one kaya lang medyo nagdadalawang isip ako kasi magiging maingay ang makina. I was quoted around 7-8k for the K&N filter including the Simota tubing. Is this a good investment o I just stick to drop-in type filter?

    OT : I was browsing the Top Gear Magazine Oct. issue and I saw an article regarding the Frontier. Im assuming si vinj un Vinci Jayme? Nice article pare. Ganda ng Frontier mo. I ended up buying the magazine because of that article.

    Anyway looking forward in your replies.

    may project ako sa likod ng frontier ko. Post ko pag nagawa ko na sa photoshop mga plans ko. Its a makeshift canopy sa likod pero detatchable siya and gawa sa trapal. Parang mga campershells pero gawa nga sa trapal at anytime pwede tanggalin. Para siyang tent para pwede may makasakay sa likod pag mainit or pag may baggage ka sa likod para wag mainitan masyado.
    Eventhough may rollerup na ako gagawin ko pa ito kasi useful din, magcanvas muna ako then papagawa ako

    20K php is more than enough for a good set of alloy rims. Be sure to get the rims with negative offset para lumabas sa fender flares mo un tires.

    Baka naka todo high lang ang thermostat mo? Another is that madumi na ang fins ng evaporator mo. Time for cleaning ng A/C system mo.

    mga tol, advise naman sa truck ko... medyo malayo na natakbo nito 180th km na... farm truck ko kasi ito kaya medyo laging gamit... ang tanong ko ay:
    1) kada ilan kms bago magpacalibrate ng injection pump (as much as possible ayaw ko pagalaw to)
    2) kada ilan kms dapat ang pagadjust ng timing chain (chain ba ang 99 frontier na 4wd)

    hina na kasi hatak, hirap na sa akyatan...

    IMHO, as long as it works, pwede mong hindi ipagalaw. But if you experience poor mileage, increased emissions, bad fuel economy, etc. and have checked out other possible culprits (e.g. filters, oil, etc.) then that's the time you recalibrate.

    What's your mileage now and when was your last filter change? I'd look first at changing the filters (fuel and air filter) and maybe purging your system with biodiesel before going the calibration route (or maybe the nozzle tips need cleaning).

    last change (air, oil, and fuel filters) at 175th... 179th na ako... ginawa ko dati ang pagpurge using 20% BD then palit ng filters (165th kms) pero wala pa din talaga, gumanda konti pero parang di tulad ng dating takbo... recently, a mechanic revved it real hard and white ang usok sa tambutso, sabi nya calibration na nga daw pero ayaw ko sana pagalaw pump ko, hehehe baka di marunong ang tumira eh...

    paano ba kung nozzle tips lang? di na kelangan buksan pump or talagang bubuksan yan? thanks!

    At 179K looks like you should already visit a reputable calibration shop (i.e. Betan, Denso, etc.).

    sa mga may kaalaman sa turbo, d2 sa dubai nakakita akong shop na
    nagkacanibalized na mga used car orig from japan subrang dami talaga
    pati mga engine kasama na doon nakakita din ako ng mga sarisaring tubo
    charger na kasama na ang sa TD27 engine, sa madaling sabi used na rin
    yung turbo charger.

    May tanong lang ako:
    1) ok pa kayang gamitin ang nasabing used turbo?
    2) halimbawa ang frontier dahil TD27 (stock d turbo ang engine)
    pwede ba na kabitan nitong turbo?
    3) papano malalaman na ok pa ang turbo sa pamamagitan
    ng visual inspection lamang.
    4) Magkano kaya ang presyo nito sa Pinas? approximately

    Try mo muna palinis nozzle tip mo bago pakalibrate. Yung kasing sa amin ayaw din namin pagalaw ang pump so ginawa sa nissan mantrade nilinis lang nozzle tip. Nawala ng ilang weeks un itim na usok pero bumalik din, marumi talaga diesel natin dyan. Me improvement din ng konti sa takbo. Last resort mo na lang ang pagkalibrate.

    Anybody here has a lifted frontier using Sun 4x4 suspension? or any suspension lift available sa market ? makano ba ang inabot? pics naman paki post.
