Bro, checked my body mounts and they look ok still. Grabe yung sa yo ha, taga Malabon/Bulacan ka ba? Hehe.
Yung hood rod pala yung maingay. The bushing holding the hinged part is loose, the rod holder (stay?) broken, and the hood bush is missing!
Am also getting a lot of oil in the OCC. I think I will stick to OEM air filter for now. The Fleetmax ones seem to be too restrictive for the turbo.
Am having difficulty sourcing
1. That small flat rubber bushing on the mounting plate of the secondary fuel filter.
2. Shock mount bushes.
Next trip to the mechanic will be a fuel filter, ATF and brake fluid change.

Just had the ATF pan dropped 20TKm ago bro. No visible particles on the mesh filter naman. Didn't get to see the drain plug as the mechanic wiped it clean as I was taking a call. Fluid was just a little darker red IIRC. Castrol Transmax Multi ATF looks good on the D40. Cheap * Php3xx/L too hehe. Plan to do a dialysis with the same ATF this time around.
Plastic retainers esp the white colored parts are prone to UV damage and gets brittle over time. Had mine replaced the hood rod, stays, grommet years ago so far still good as the parking is covered garage.
1. I had it customized PU rubber, the old ones are cracked.
2. Got an OEM pair as spare from dealership, 2d order and super cheap. Custom bushes at 4x4 shops or at CM Recto/Gracepark Trucking supply.
Bought some cheapest(P225) air filter.
This sakura has improved since 10yrs ago. The top/bottom rubber gaskets are now aligned
Got also replacement brake pads. Napabayaan kaya bagsak sa tornohan

Trade her to the new D23 as a leisure truck
Still cant let her go as shes been used for alternate farm duties. No major prob so far doing the PMS by myself, but got some minor - axle seal leak, leaking rear left shock, leaking oil in the intercooler hose(im about to vent this PCV hose to the ground if i get pissed and im about to as it is coughing oil to the serpentine and tensioneer). Still, all minor problems for a 10yo truck.
Can't trade her for a new one bro, already bought a CR-V. Been thinking of getting a small truck to replace this one and giving up hauling duties completely. Just don't have the funds yet.
Re: your truck I know you can take it to 20+ years hehe. With your mad diy skills you can already train mechanics, put up your own car service and do better than most of the independents.
A local Shell station lang bro. Underwash is only 200 petot.
Me recall ang airbag Ng navara parang model ‘07-13?
