Even it lose to Nissan Navara but it losses a mere 2 point the slimiest of margin. The real advantage of Triton is the 4M41 engine with its wide powerband.

Sir Drave, galing ba sa mitsubishi yung less than 1 cm variance sa ride height? Yung rear ko kasi is aroung 0.8...pero yung front..1.5cm lower ang left. I wonder if pwede kong ipa correct yun sa mitsubishi on my 1,000 kms check up.
How about the other owners out there. Have you checked yours?
I wouldn't recommend it still... The interior just feels so cheap. You will feel like a utilitarian yourself.
The Strada is still the best lifestyle pick-up!

I just bought my strada 3.2, this is the reason why Nissan is not my choice.
http://www.whatcar.co.uk/car-review-readers.aspx?RT=745
and there are ton's of problem with its engine/trany (surf the web). it took me more than 1 month reviewing (Thanks also sa Tsikot regarding info sa Strada) and i have decided not to wait this Dec. for the navara.
My next ride would be Santa Fe(5 Star NCAP Crash Test).

DonT,
I got this info from one owner in mymitsu forum. He had to bring it back to the casa and they were able to correct it. From what I know, there should be < 1 cm difference between left and right.
LANPARTY,
Great choice! I would've gotten the 3.2 too, had it been released earlier. But I'm still very happy with my 2.5. More than enough power and superb fuel efficiency. According to one chief mechanic here, he likes the 4D56 better than 4M41. Mas madali daw "masahihin" pag may nasira hehe...Baka kasi kabisadong-kabisado na nila yung 4D56![]()
question: hindi ba tlga power folding ang mga mirrors ng strada? or is it just my version that doesnt have power folding side mirrors. mine is glx.
another question, does your floor mats slides at times when driving..slides towards the front? i saw some hooks sa floor, but the mats doesnt have holes to place it there. i'm thinking of putting two holes so naka fit sya sa hook and wont slide forward anymore.

Sir boybit,
I happen to be scouting for freebies also. Saan ba yang showroom na napuntahan mo? Standard lang quote sa akin minus the P20T promo - tint, mattings, ewd, lto not free.
I appreciate it if you can include also the telephone number and the sales assistant. Thanks...

Dati ko pa rin napapansin ito.. according to my service adviser, yung sa rear daw talaga may variance on most, if not all stradas. why i do not know. medyo tagilid siya tingnan from the rear. as for my front, my right is lower by 1.0 cm than the left. gusto ko na nga rin pacheck kung pwede macorrect ito. simple adjustment lang kaya?
I agree.. the interior of the navara feels so cheap and outdated. that is kung same ng nasa CAMPI ang irerelease nila dito. coz the one in australia mas maganda ang interior with black and silver finish. and the leg room, especially at the back, exactly like old nissan pickups and the current patrol. ang sikip!
thanks for the feedback DonT.
actually..i dont like the matting they gave me..it looks like it wasnt for the strada. anyhow, what i did, i have bought plastic floormats and placed it on top of the free matting, cut holes on the plastic floormats and it is fixed. no more movements.
it rained today and i saw water inside the bed. weird..theres no drain hole sa front portion of the bed of the strada.
just for curiosity's sake.. what's the diff between the strada gls sport and strada gls other than the engine and the rims? is the strada gls the same as the luxury variant which came out when this pick-up was first introduced? as i remember, the price before of the gls was around 1.2M.. what features were removed making it only around 1.1M today?
thanks!
Magkano pala charge nang oil filter "4m41" sa casa. Sa akin P2,240 for the oil filter alone...parang mahal ata dito.![]()
If I remember correctly sa mga earlier threads...the price difference between the GLS and GLS Sport was only 50,000 pesos. Currently the GLS Sport is priced at 1.260M after discount. No Idea about the current price for the GLS. It could have been lowered due to the Forex, but I am really guessing here.
Anyway, physical differences where the Engine 2.5->3.2L, Wider Tires - 245->265 and the Limited Slip Differential. Hope I did not forget anything more. In anycase, thats good value for 50,000 difference. Maybe that's the reason they had to reduce the price of the GLS.![]()
I've finally owned a 3.2 black strada.....
i've got it from casa davao and drove it back to cotabato...
Whats exciting bout 3.2 strada is....
The engine really growls, whew!
The acceleration is the best, you can feel the pull even though ur limiting your speed to 80-100kph coz i have to recheck it after 1000KM.
The aircon is very very cold....
I like the gauges and it makes me smile, coz i think theres no plastic cover on the the gauges and it temps me to touch it... bwehehehehe
It is very very good for nite travel, coz nothing escapes its light...
The 3.2 tires are big but i dont like the mags
The smoothness of the ride... whew! feels so great
The speakers works great, its kinda loud to my content..
What i hate bout my strada is the steering
Its not that smooth just like my nissan eagle
with just 1 finger i can turn the wheel not unlike the strada
But im quite satisfied with it...
Happy to own 1...
