October 23rd, 2008 12:16 PM #7261Maayong Buntag,
Nong nag 1000 PMS ako I asked the SA kung pwede ba na magdala ako ng own oil ko, sabi nila "sir sa 30,000 pa pwede" is it true? and i tried to check the XP sythethic they are saying medyo malabo ang specs nito.
Bai Tachnu, unsa gani to number nemu bai, wala nako na save.

sir, it's really the policy of the dealer if they allow owners to bring in their own oil..now with regards to warranty issue, basta its equivalent or higher rating that stated on our manual, you can use any oil. i dont know how the SA got the 30K PMS na pwede na magdala, i dont see a bearing except that maybe with average of 10K KM / year travelled and with our warranty of 3years, maybe he is just saying you can do anything with your car because its not warrantied.

Good day sir's, im just new in this thread. i got my strada a month ago and its really a nice ride and very fun to drive, so fun that in less than a week i already got a 1000+ milage :-) btw sir's i plan to change my stock 245/65R17 tire into a wider 270 or 265/65R17 tire, will it still fit in the stock 17" x 7" rims? just want to have better traction on highways especially during rainy days. Thanks...

*jericho941- lets wait for what the others have to say. i think Fellow BOSB Bluemica can help you po kasi if i recall, ma-bling-bling ang gulong nya po. but you can read the recent posts of sir G01 since he explained his offset in comparison with the stock rims (3.2 GLS Sport) he had. i hope that helps in the meantime. thanks.

Thanks for the added info sir

you're welcome po sir...

*sabadun, yes, the tire sizes that you have mentioned will fit with the current mags. If you can also upgrade it to A/T (all terrain), that will be better for that extra traction that you need.
may we know your location po? is it Manual or Automatic?

you and sir jashty_enzo are the 2 new owners of the Strada 3.2 GLS Sport that i know of. This may indicate that sales are still moving for the 3.2 models despite the Montero Sport debut. Any there others out there?

*cebu_boy-trust me, kailngan may sariling sikap ka in researching. di naman ako galit sa mitsu dito sa cebu its just theyre not really well educated, iba-iba pa yung sagot nila sa mandaue branch and south road branch to think isang dealer lang yun.
like sa TT sabi nila na nakakasira daw yan ng makina kaya they dont recommend installing it kahit sila yun mag-iinstal, tapos sa mandaue branch sabi na ok na ok yun, nagtataka din nga siya na bakit wala nang TT yung newer models-(note: yung kausap ko is tao sa winterpine in charge sa whole cebu, nag roving siya sa toyota, mitsu etc....)
anyways medyo OT na basta im no expert but if you have questions po i na KAYA ko, tulungan po kita. and may mga fellow BOSBs naman dito eh na palaging to the rescue hehe
