sa alarm naman, nakasilent mode lang yun kaya insensitive... if you're using the tri di remote, try pressing the top bottom release until the light turns green then press the key on the left... if this didn't work, try unlocking your strada first and do the same step...

Ano po yung tri di remote? 4 button po kasi yung remote ko. yung lock, unlock, silent ata yun, at yung panic button. Kahit kasi yugyugin mo na yung unit e ang tagal pa nya mag-alarm.

May case kasi ako sa officemate ko na muntik na ma-carnap yung strada nya sa may project 3 sa QC sa parking nila kaya lang walang gate yung garage nya. Ang ginawa e pinutol muna yung audible ng alarm niya tapos binasag yung maliit na salamin sa passenger side para mabuksan yung hood at matanggal yung negative sa battery para madis able yung flasher. Buti na lang at nakita niya agad. Madaling araw daw yun buti nagising siya at nakita na may tao sa labas.Tawag agad siya barangay nakatunog ata yung carnapper ayun alis agad di na naabutan. Takaw carnap po ba tlaga yung mga ganitong unit?

so ibig sabihin sir, the K&N filter doesn't necessarily mean na gaganda ang smoke emission? pero di bale siguro, ill just switch to motul oil siguro.

sir pareho lang po filter ng 2.5 at 3.2, pati sa monty...
i think horsepower ang naiimprove ng KnN ...
engine oil, sa engine / gears naman yun(less ingay)...
baka sa diesel yan kasi yan naman sinusunog...
hehehe siguro sa diesel na gamit nyo sir kaya ganun kausok...
naalala ko samin nung gumamit ng caltex, parang mas mausok at mas maingay ang makina...

when we had the club's fun run to sagada, we noticed some smoke coming from the exhausts after the usual cold morning starts... then afterwards nawala na din... baka normal lang yun hehehe... check natin ulit yung strada ko... i'll be there sa baguio on July 20-22

Yup, what i have seen so far those Stradas emitting some some in the early mornings and once it has warmed up (mid-rang on the temp. gauge) then the smoke disappears.

*Mikko_018, noted that the K&n filters are the same for the 2 engines. But what i am still researching is if the boost from the turbo is the same for booth engines. I'm trying to point out differences between the 2 engines aside from the size and since they are coming from 2 engine families- 4D and 4M. just taking my time due to work schedule (a[SIZE=1]s always, sagabal ang trabaho sa stradaphilia!!![/SIZE])

sirs, regarding sa usok from a 2.5 engine. na experience ko na rin yan as early as 5k pa. lalo na kong humatak ka talaga ng mabilis. parang mabilis apak sa accelerator. grabe ang usok. but nawawala naman din agad.

IMO, depende din ito if your city driving lang or mostly hiway driving. kasi if your in the city lang, bagal traffic, the most 60kmh lang takbo. cause ng accumulation ng fumes sa exhaust. one way din to let these fumes out is by traveling or hi-way driving. you let those out by spirited driving. you can only do this on hi gear, hi rpms. make the engine spit everything out. i read this somewhere in top gear mag eh. bottom line, madumi talaga diesel natin. black smoke is expected.

How long will the casa take to replace that scv? I'm sort of experiencing what some of you guys posted, mostly on my 2nd gear ( parang hirap umarangkada and parang nanginginig pa when suddenly it accelerates) , which came out just this week.

9700++ km na takbo ko..should i wait till i reach 10,000km para sabay na or have it checked already?

Lastly, will they honor the warranty of the scv in a different casa but still daimond motors where i bought my unit? Dami kasing tao sa Q. Ave lagi.. Thinking of sa Fairview if meron pa dun.

as long as you go for the regular pms from the casa, all casas will honor the warranty, i got mr warranty done at otis union, eventhough i bought the unit from bulacan. just know what parts to specify to check and be clear on the problems that you experience so that they will fix it if defective, telling them that you read the problems from the strada and montero sport forum might help.y

Natawa ako dito, 'yung mga unang buwan kasi nung akin e me pumalakpak lang e nagwawala ang alarm Tapos nabasa ko dito sa forum kung paano disable 'yung shock sensor Baka binago na nila 'yung alarm ng 2010 models sir, hingi kayo sa casa ng manual. Payo ko sa may mga bagong strada e unahin ang spare tire lock, kung puwede nga e locks, madami, 'wag lang isa. Ginamitan kasi ng bolt cutter 'yung kadenang nilagay ko, buti na lang may rod type na lock din, ngayon 2 kadena at 'yung rod type ang nakakabit

just got back my strada glx from the casa for warranty claim, 3rd ko na. This time, to replace the gear and linkage assembly (steering column). Warranty value: 56.268.53 + 907 labor. Before this, pinalitan nila ang actuator sa front left driver side door. I didnt see how much this was. Before that, dinikit lang nila yung rubber cover ng power remote. Pininturahan na rin nila yung kalawang sa base ng battery ko. My ride is an 09 strada design but purchased march 2010, mileage is now at 2,450kms.

sa mga bumpy roads bah mag-ingay sir?
experienced that kasi. before my 2nd pms.
parang amplified mouse sound yung sakin.
occurs every time maka daan ako ng lubak2 na road or rocky terrain.
sumama talaga ako sa head mechanic ng casa so they would know saan mga maingay sa interior. na kita siguro nila kung saan talaga ang ingay at pina tighten lang. so far hindi na bumalik.

baka euro 1 ang supply ng fuel natin tapos ang expect ng manufacturer euro 2 category ang fuel natin. malamang, mataas pa rin ang sulfur content ng fuel. noon, sinabi ng oil company, clean diesel (low sulfur), ngayon may cleaning power (techron). ang sunod yata yan, extreme cleaning power with super usok (ay mali). rolleyes: hopefully, mali yong haka haka ko.
