just the grill. no need for the bumpers. for glx...that part of the door, triangular shape has no speakers there...we only have four speakers and those are for tweeters in the future.

    nice pics..thanks for sharing.

piggyprincess: congrats on your ride ma'am. i bet your ride will be unique in your province.

to all who has experienced, splash on their windshield when driving over puddle of water, here is a suggestion, drive slower. i think all cars will experience that when driving by puddles of water. again your driving a pickup and not a tank...some people think just because your driving high and tall with 4x4, you can conquer anything along the way. (my opinion lang)

gud pm. and to everyone here in this thread, gud pm too. am relatively new here. am trying to read all that was written here from the start to the latest ones. pero super haba talaga ng thread. came across you guys because of my brother who used to be a systems analyst from yehey.com.

before i got my blue Glx 4x2 last april 2008, i was the first one to own an orange civic SiR last nov 1998 here in Pampanga. still have SiRio (my civic's name) with me. but when i got my hands on Erap (my glx's name), i was amazed by the power it can give you. considering its a diesel.

decided to put SiRio on the sideline because of my work, which brings me from angeles city to mariveles, bataan and to sbma, where shipyards are located. kawawa kasi suspension ni SiRio, especially from liac all the way to mariveles. this is one of the reasons why i decided to get a strada. it really fits my line of work.

pasensya na medyo humahaba na itong nobela ko. bumabawi lang ako sa inyo because medyo sakit na rin ulo ko because of the long thread. but i enjoyed reading your notes guys. dami ako natututunan about our rides. thanks in part to my bro. if not for him, wont be here.

lastly, like what i have texted to d' patriarch, is there anybody who is planning to trade their 17" Gls sport mags for new sets real soon? i haven't upgraded anything on my ride yet. except for the stock horn.

anyway, many thanks to everyone of you...

    God bless and drive safe...

wow..three tsikoteers have blue strada...way to go...

if my memory serves me correct, meron pa isa nag post na owner of red strada based sa sbma or in that area....if the two divers go back there....maybe you all can meet...at least that will be a start of a barkada in your area that has a strada as their vehicle.

Sir dadz = I Think this the the solution for the squeaking Leaf spring, Do you have any idea how much we cost us for the set of leaf spring spacer...

    Note: Black = OEM parts.
Red = For Heavy Duty and for off road use..

Bro alainroyce yan nga ang gamit namin para tumahimik ang leaf springs the cost is less than 2k baht, available yan diyan sa atin sa mga offroad stores same din sa mitsu service center me isa pa kaming gamit it's a sheet spacer na me adhesive sa isang side kaya medyo tahimik ang leaf springs namin.

Mga Bro's dig around into our web site and makikita nyo na hindi joke ang truck natin it can perform well on road and better in an off road.

Remember what our english friend said " WE HAVE A BLOODY TRUCK AND NOT A FERRARI".

Well again sorry, the water really coming sideways. What i mean is, the splash is everywhere and you really have to stop cause theres zero visibility.

I'm not bringing issues here, I'm just giving you an idea to be extra careful when you hit some waters on the road, especially flooded areas.
That's ok, no problem. Probably, we are discussing a situation from both a different perspective. I also have experienced that situation several times. I know what you mean by "zero visibility". But no use discussing it here because that will be out of topic. Probably, when I get to visit Cotabato City in December we can have an EB and continue this friendly discussion, hehehe. Friendly, ha? Remember, I spent my childhood days there, I'm also a Cotabateņo.

Of course, there is no substitute to being extra careful under that situation. And as sir siomai said, simply use your windshield wiper.

    Now, back to the thread....

Sir astec, welcome to the strada thread.

Sir, ano na odo reading sa strada mo? 2007 or 2008? Manual or automatic?

I noted that you are into off-roading with VCP in your Vitara. What made you decide to get a Strada 3.2 GLS Sport? I hope you can join the strada club and be with us when we embark on off-roading activities and share with us your off-roading experiences.

Just puzzled on whats the issue with splashing of water and zero visibility for a few seconds? For sure its a safety issue..but is'nt it the same case or situation sa mga sedans, AUV's and SUV's? Or is this phenomena only observed sa pickup? specifically the strada?

I REALLY DIDN'T HAVE THESE KIND OF PROBLEMS WHEN I HAD MY GEN 2 STRADA SERVICED AT 20T KMS. AND UNTIL NOW 135T KMS I COULD BARELY HEAR A RATTLING SOUND, UNEVEN STANCE NOR VIBRATION DESPITE USING 275 TIRES EVEN I GO OFFROAD KC MAY FARM AKO. I'M JUST CURIOUS TO KNOW.. I KNOW THAT THE CURRENT STRADA MODELS ARE NOW ASSEMBLED IN THAILAND AND W/ A VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL I SHOULD FRANKLY SAY..SAAN BA ANG GEN 2 ASSEMBLED I THINK THAILAND DN!..AM I RIGHT? BUT Y IT DIDN'T GIVE THAT KIND OF PROBLEM(GEN 3) THAT SEEMS TO BE CONSIDERED A LEMON CAR IF WE IN THE PHILS. DO HAVE THAT LAW APPROVED? GOOD I WAITED A LITTLE BIT OR ELSE I BOUGHT THIS CRAP VEHICLE! I STRONGLY SUGGEST BUYERS THAT HAVE THE INTENT TO BUY PLS HOLD UNTIL PROBLEMS SOLVED!!! AND THAT WAY MITSUBISHI WILL DO SOMETHING ASAP.. I AM A MITSUBISHI AND TOYOTA ENTHUSIAST BUT I ALWAYS SAY NOT ALL MODELS THEY MANUFACTURED ARE GOOD QUALITY! TIPS IN BUYING NEW CARS WAIT UNTIL THE NEW MODEL CAR HITS 50T MILES THEN CONSIDER REVIEWS! MILLION pesos IS NOT THAT EASY TO FIND. NO OFFENSE.

Got my Strada M/T this May 2008. Now registering 2200+km on the odo. I like the shape or design of its body though some may find it odd, the engine displacement is larger than its counterpart which is very torquey at low rpm (I usually just lift the clutch and go, on 1st gear), the interior space is large especially the rear and importantly, it is priced competitively.
