Hi Sir drey, honestly, I don't notice this on my 3.2 strada. Or probably that sound is there but I have not been mindful and did not consider it as a serious symptom. BTW, my strada color is silver gray.
Sige, I'll try to observe and clean my ears tomorrowand hear if my strada gives out this tik-tik sound. I'll keep you posted.
OT: I encounter this sound on my CRV when it was new and even up to now. It gives a tik-tik-tik sound after using the vehicle. I have asked the casa about this a long time ago and they said that it is normal. They stated that the sound comes from the fuel injector.

ako rin...i have a hard time putting the car in 1st and 2nd gear. i thought it was just me because I havent driven a manual for 4 years (my old car was automatic), but after a day, i realized its not me, its the car. anyhow, i am scheduled this sat morning at citimotors makati to have my clutch adjusted (its too high) and check the transmission. when i shift from 1st to 2nd gear, sometimes hindi sya pumapasok well (you can actually feel the jolt of the gears trying to enter the 2nd gear [mind you, i know how to drive a manual]).
guys...as i posted before, have you checked the metel holding your exhaust system to your units? Mine shows rust already.

November 15th, 2007 05:49 PM #1905guys it seems ang dami ng complaints sa new strada, lagutok and hard steering, tiktiktik sound, now hard shift on 1st ang 2nd gear, the funny thing is all of these things did not exist don sa dating strada namin(2nd gen 2003), tuwang tuwa nga yong nakabili dahil ang lambot ng manubela talo pa daw kotse niya. now it gives us doubts to get the new one. buti pa siguro di ko nalang nabasa tong mga complaints na to, so depressing since ive always thought mitsubishi was the best as what we experienced don sa amin.

November 15th, 2007 08:00 PM #1908I'm not a fan of mitsu
Nasamid ako when you said mitsu was the best
In fact , my friends were surprised I bought a mistu again
But daym , this truck is so goodlookingand fast
Emotions trump common sense kasi I will buy this pickup (strada 07) again if I need another haha

Silverend... IMHO maybe those complaints are isolated cases. Im happy and very contented with my 1 year old Strada.

November 15th, 2007 08:30 PM #1910maybe i just need a cheering up, as we all know di mura ang milyon. anyway having said what i said doesnt mean that i lost my interest for the strada, lahat kasi kami pro-mitsubishi, kahit mga trucks(canter and fighter) namin ay puro mitsu din kaya somehow na gi-guilty kami to get another brand, like mitsumia said maybe isolated cases ang mga complaints, sana ok naman yong mapili namin, hopefully. thank you
have you tried spraying peppermint?
