Sorry to put this burden or even to make this suggestion at this point in club development, but i just think that we have the potential of being a great club with the members involved so far! But for us to begin to be a great club we have to come up with a great name, and we did! BUT.. with our name.. our logo is suffering.. if its just me, then ignore me, but if there are those who agree with me?? MONTERO SPORT CLUB PHILIPPINES is a great name.. BUT MSCP are ugly initials!

Either we come up with another name with better initials, or we just don't use the initials. But that might make our logo to wide and to "in your face"...

What do you all think? Ignore me or Do i have a point?

Medyo OT pero in concerns our Montero pa rin naman. The thing is, no one wants to use it kasi wala pang plate number. Everyone is afraid of the no palte, no travel policy. The 7 day is fairly strict in some parts and not on others.. the loop hole is... tell your SA to print out a lot of Delivery Receipts... for every week.. so if cops do get you, you just show them the DR for that week and make it as if the car was just delivered to you.. that's all you need.

Just be sure to change is per week and not show the cops the other DRs... If you show the old ones, then your caught, if you show the future ones then your caught too.. hehehehe but that really works. Don't show them anything else, just the DR to prove that the unit was only delivered within the week. If you start showing other receipts or anything that tells them you got it earlier than the DR, you'll get caught that way too.. But other than the DR, you shouldn't need to show anything else, and you should keep everything else separately and just act dumb if they ask and say that's all the dealer gave you since the car is financed. You'll get away. just don't slip up. hehehehe

If i may make a suggestion? Could piss people off, but what the hey.. at least! About the name change i was talking about or the logo change? Sorry, ideas just popped into my head trying to think of a logo..

What does everyone think of GRUPO MONTERO SPORT/GMS/GRUPO MS

all are the same, i'm not comparing them to eachother, i'm just showing how it can be used.

I figure, GRUPO can already indicate we're a club, plus in tagalog signifying PHILIPPINES. Just thought the name is much more unique than the ones I earlier suggested and those suggested by other members? Again, just a suggestion, if no one likes it nor think its better, no hard feelings.. Just wanted to voice out my thoughts.

GMS ..... MSCP it just somehow looks and sounds more "angas or astig"

Just like to ask if the front bumber assembly of your monty was removed when you had your car modified and repainted. I understand the front bumber extends way up to the the mitsu logo between the front grill. Is it not difficult to remove the front bumer if this was the case? Or was it only the bottom parts that were removed? I just like to know if it is really that difficult to remove the whole front bumbers as claimed by my SA. I'm planning to have it painted kasi and i want it removed when they paint it. tnx.

Traded my stock silver rims & tires to a chrome rims..much more decent looking than the stock silver & without compromising the ride/suspension.. Good thing about it pa is i got a new tires from a 2.5 variant who traded it earlier to a 20 inch rims..Lugi sila coz 6,500 na kilometer reading ko .. for 25K sulit na parang budget meal..haha ..kaysa abutin ako 120K

I agree with NTYce that MONTERO SPORT CLUB PHILIPPINES is a very decent org. name though the acronym MSCP is a bit awkward when uttered. Well, just my 2 cents worth, could be MOSCPHIL or MONPHIL. As long as it stands for the name of the club.

my front bumper was not removed at any time when it was being modified. The way i see it, even if ATOY's people took off my bumper, they really do that for a living, so they are very very capable. and if they do break it, they're a fabricator, they'll fix it for me without me even knowing, and it won't be a "half-assed" job or the company will a lot of problems.. So honestly, an easy job can always turn into a disaster. So its really up to you if you believe in the people taking it off. If you have doubts, i suggest for you not to do it. Find somebody who you are confident with...
